NEWJEANS DR intro::

newjeans (korean: 뉴진스) is a south korean girl group formed in 2023 by ador, a label owned by the south korean entertainment giant hybe, and is arguably one of the most successful groups in the industry. the group consists of five members: minji, hanni, haerin, hyein, and jia. they are known for their music and style, which blends elements of 1990s and 2000s pop and rnb with modern production.

charlotte elisabeth jourdain lee (korean: lee chaerin) also known as her stage name jia, is a member of the kpop group newjeans. born in paris on the 13th of august 2009, she is the first french kpop idol and the maknae of her group. from a very young age, jia has loved performing, specifically singing for her family and friends. she started ballet and took singing lessons to nurture her passion for the arts and feed her evergrowing talent. in summer22, she moved to south korea with her parents and little brother louis for her mothers work and decided to audition for hybe during their global audition in 2022. she started training in september of that year and has the shortest trainee period with 11 months. jia is the main vocalist and center of her group but is often referred to as an ace by her loving fans who often joke about the young girl having one talent per name.

eom seonghyeon (english name: sean) is a member of bighits 3rd boy group cortis. jia and seonghyeon first got close when the girl joined hybe, the two teens having been the same age. like their groups, the two have stayed very close after each of their respective debuts.

behind the public eye, seonghyeon and jia spend a lot of time together and one who hasn't met them could think they are more than friends. despite some playful comments from their members, they remain friends (seeing as there obviously isn't anything else in play... right...?)

note:: im not nwjns ot4, i really love danielle, this is just a lineup i took from one of my old scripts - i also scripted that danielle is in the wonderful group illit as the 6th member (instead of adp's youngseo) so it can be the ot6 group it was intended to be, all while dani stays an idol :))

ik this is an old discourse and all... but i think this is true in the sense that a lot of shifters who 1) identify as a woman/girl and 2) are attracted to/shift for romantic relations with men assume all other shifters are in the same boat. this is why a lot of "things to script for your s/o" posts have the vibe or implication that it's targeted for shifters with male s/os, which can make queer shifters feel forgotten or left out. since shifting went mainstream due to tiktok, it feels like the community has become much more "s/o-centric" in a way. there's nothing wrong w shifting for an s/o of course, but it seems that many shifters' conception of the shifting experience revolves around romantic relationships.

this sounds a little convoluted but i hope you get what i mean 😭🙏

I think we should have more compassion for shifters with trauma and mental illnesses in this reality who shift to have trauma elsewhere because they don’t feel like theirs is enough

TIPS FOR YOUR JJK DR (⁠〃ﾟ⁠3ﾟ⁠〃⁠) (from my experience I'll be giving small tips!!)

(this will also be mentioning the cons of shifting to a jjk dr - violence will be mentioned so if you are uncomfortable skip this post or save for later (⁠ ⁠◜⁠‿⁠◝⁠ ⁠)⁠♡)

For the students

do not expect to be dressing all cutesy during missions, I tried and my clothes got wrecked.

Try to not make fun of curses, or don't stare them in the eye because they get very aggressive/pressed.

FYI curses stink like shit so just be prepared for that.

Try not to wear jewelry because IVE HAD a curse steal it because it was 'shiny'.

don't expect it to be only all fun and games.

take things seriously because it's honestly a bit strict being a sorcerer sometimes (but maybe that's because I'm an adult.)

Honestly cherish the bright moments because you'll see a lot of things that can fuck you up in the mind.

never listen to gojo.

try to not get into too much trouble (if you rebel sometimes you get treated differently.)

For the jjk shifters who aren't students (just other things in general too.)

script in that you have more of a pain tolerance than others.

make sure you KNOW your technique correctly.

Do not try to impress people and just DO the job. (Embarrassing thing that happened to me.)

When you feel like you can't use your technique....run honestly.

Make sure you don't have a weak stomach.

Higher stamina ofc

Follow rules because you can get suspended.

and be aware that it will not only be you killing curses but you will eventually have to fight other people too.

that also means hurting/killing others.

just keep in mind you will see a LOT of blood. Unless you script it out ofc.
