{⚓} - “Aye aye, sir!” Casper hopped up, obviously not taking the hint, and pressed his face and hands against the display case. They all looked so tempting! Of course, after spending weeks on sea with nothing to eat but fish and canned things, everything looks delicious. 

He pointed to the pie. “I want that.”

With quick hands, Hagi took the pie out, cut a slice out, and placed it on a plate before handing it to Casper. 

“Here you go, would you like any toppings on that?” Hagi asked as he instinctively reached for the whipped cream.

"Hey Ginny, you know I've been working in this really nice cafe, right? Why won't you swing on by?" ;)

“Me and ‘really nice’ don’t really mix. Can I at least stand inside and stare at the food?”

“No strawberry for Gin-san. I already paid enough for this!” Tucking the napkin into the front of his shirt, he picked up a fork and took a big bite. 

“Oi… This ain’t half bad for a Hagi Special…” He took another bite and another, stuffing his face until it was halfway gone.

“Oi oi, is the water free here or do I have to pay extra for that too?”

“Of course! Only the best server the best” Hagi felt so high up on his horse after that praise.

“Ah, yeah. It’s free. I’ll go get it for you.” Now time to play a small evil joke. As Hagi went to pour the water for Gin, he added a some crushed laxative pill to the water. Only enough to make Ginny have the shits about the time he fell asleep possibly.

Hagi placed the glass of water on the table. “There you go.”

Another laugh came from him but this time it’s shorter and more likely trying to keep it to himself, “I think I expressed clearly what I wanted to say earlier so I’m not sure what to say right now. Any suggestions?”

“You should say.. Uh..” Hagi couldn’t bring himself to ask about it. Instead he let go of Wifezaki. “Where are my kids? I miss them!” How could he forget his own children? Two cats and a dog. The other important things in his life,

“Let’s all go for a walk with them.”

Lily sat down as she happily began nibbling at the delicious creampuff that the male had made for her. It was unusual that he sat at the table with her after he brought her tea. But his presence wasn’t unpleasant. In fact, she was enjoying it despite only just meeting him.

“Yes, I’m new.” She spoke as she finished the piece that was in her mouth. “In fact, I’m a… traveler of sorts.” That wasn’t entirely a lie, but she didn’t need to mention the fact that she was a ‘dangerous’, wanted pirate criminal.

“A traveler? That’s amazing! Where have you been?” She was a traveler? This was exciting to him, and he wouldn’t have possibly guessed something like that.

Once again, she went to waiting patiently once he had disappeared again to finish making her creampuff. It wasn’t long however, until he came back out with it, with a cute heart shaped macaron on top, making her smile. “This looks good~!” she chimed.

She picked off the delicious heart macaron and popped it in her mouth, chewing it and humming happily at the delicious taste. “One sugar in my tea, please~!”

Quickly fetching her tea and sugar, he returned to the table in no time to place it down. It was an awkward silence because he just kept standing there by her table. Shit, Hagi do something. He decided to take a seat. Wow, this is so much better..

“I haven’t seen you pass by this shop at all before. Are you new around these parts?” This awkward feeling will pass quickly with some small talk. At least, that’s what he hoped.

Once he had disappeared into what she assumed was the kitchen to make her treat, she waited patiently while curiously looking around the shop. She smiled to herself a little; she shop was rather nice, not to mention the male serving her was rather cute. Depending on how long she remained in this place for, she would probably visit more often.

So deep in her thoughts, she jumped at the sudden sound of his voice, a small, quiet shriek leaving her lips before she turned around.

“On top? Hm..” She hadn’t actually mentioned what she’d like on top. In fact, she, herself didn’t even know. “Surprise me!”

He nodded and dove back into the kitchen. Surprise her..? Alright. Easy enough. A macaron on top. Shit, the macarons are heart shaped for extra cuteness. Would she take that in a weird way?

“One Special!” he called out, as he exited the kitchen door with her macaron topped cream puff. It was placed on the counter for her to pick up. “And your tea as well, would you like any sugars for it?”

{⚓} - “Yes!” Casper looked around and sat in a chair. “I’ll eat anything! Give me it all!” He leaned back in the chair and put his feet up on the table. Manners? What are those?

With a sweet smile on his face, working mode Hagi pointed to the feet on his table. “I’m about to give you a one way ticket out the door.” Of course he wasn’t allowed to do so. Although, his smile says, ‘Hey if I have to clean mud off this table I’ll charge you double.’

“The display of desserts by the counter shows what we’re selling today. Take a pick.”

With a cute, curious expression, she listened to his description of the starter, her mouth almost watering as she look towards the door at the treat on display. This starter sounded, and looked, really tasty, now she just had to try it! 

“That looks really good! I’d like to try that with some hot tea please~!” she chimed eagerly, but then suddenly went still and blushed, looking over at him as she realized the comment he made. Pretty? He must just be saying that, he couldn’t possibly mean such a thing!

“What a great choice, please choose your tea from this list as I get your dessert.” as Hagi made his way through the doorway to the kitchen the only thought that ran through his mind was... “She’s.. So tiny and adorable..” he couldn’t help but think quietly out loud. Pretty wasn’t a lie, but adorable was definitely what he thought. Snapping back into reality.

“Shit, where’s the fresh whipped cream..” hopefully that girl wouldn’t hear the frantic clattering of dishware and such as Hagi finally found some whipping cream to decorate the cream puff. 

“....” He popped his head out from the kitchen, “Sorry, I must’ve forgotten. Did you say what you’d like on top of it?”

“H-Hah… I don’t really understand, you still got the looks even if you’re cute like this.” a hand reached out to move the strands of hair away from Hagi’s face.

“But to be honest, you look much cooler today.“

Hagi couldn’t stop himself from giving Yamazaki another kiss after hearing that, “You’re being too much, Wifezaki.. If you keep it up I might go in for a more intense kiss~” he started leaning to the side til they both were laying down but still embraced. Though the floor isn’t quite a romantic place to be laying on..

“... You should say the thing.“

{♒} - Do I have food on me? Eurus blushed, not like anyone could see that.

“Food? I don’t have any on me right now, I work in this cafe though.“ Hagi tried to smell his shirt. There wasn’t any obvious smell on him that he knew about.

“If you want, you can come get something? I mean, we were kinda thrown together on a whim.”

Wandering around aimlessly, trying to find something to do to cure her boredom, she found herself becoming a little peckish for a little something to munch on. By some coincidence, she found herself right outside of a cafe the moment she thought about eating. 

“This place looks nice.” She muttered to herself as she walked in, immediately greeted by a male.

“Hm? What’s today’s starter?”

A female. Of course, working in a cute cafe such as this means cute girls. It was one of the perks of this job.

“It’s actually in the display shelf next to the door. Today’s special is a large custard creampuff, its topped with whipped cream and your choice of a flavored macaron, cherry, or nothing on top.” He gestured towards the display before continuing. “The custard is kind of salty sweet. Such as a sea salt caramel. It’s only 8 dollars if you buy with a hot or cold tea from the list stated there. 5 if it’s by itself, but I’ll give you a discount for being so pretty today~”

Always try to get the girls to swoon, that way they come for more! At least that’s how Hagi thinks.

The day was slow in the Cafe. Hagi was running out of napkins to draw on, and he already had three ‘lunch breaks’ so to speak. “Something’s bound to happen soon, right?” he sighed. It’s although heaven heard him because someone decided to through his front doors.

Work mode was switched on. “Oh, Hello! Would you like to try today’s special?”
