life chapter: p.s your baddie “rum pum pum pum”
Yoon and Mark stood in silence, Yoon’s room felt small and suffocating for both.
JiMin and TaeYong sent them to talk after the altercation at the living room, a tom have to be said but anyone wanted to do it.
“Mark…” Yoon hesitated, nervous under his eyes, it wasn’t the same small thin kid she knew.
“you know how hurt i felt after you texted me we were over?” he said without trembling, looking forward to her eyes.
“well, that’s how it felt when you literally ditched me a whole month, in which was included our monthly count and my birthday, i was your girlfriend Mark” now Yoon didn’t flinch, tired of being portrayed as the one with the fault.
“i was a 15 year old being overworked! what did you expected from me?!”
“i didn’t expected anything, i wanted you to fulfill your promises at the same time as your dreams!” Yoon raised her voice as well, tears forming up in her eyes.
Yoon only had other 2 situationships after Mark, both ended up with maturity, none hurt like Mark’s.
“that’s why you ran to ChanHee’s arms when you could?” he mumbled angrily, that thought being in the back of his mind for a long time.
Yoon opened her eyes surprised at the implication, she had met ChanHee just a little time before she called it quits with Mark, but never involved herself with him in any way.
“what the fuck did you said?” Yoon muttered with gritted teeth, angry stepping closer to Mark whom seemed to lost the bravery he had a moment ago.
“repeat it!” she was closer and Mark could see the tears in her eyes, the sadness behind them, it seemed like the rumors uncovered a wound not even close to heal.
“you don’t know how much i cried over being forgotten by my first boyfriend, by the one that was my first love and said to me i was his” Yoon finally said untying her feelings, the ones in her chest from years ago “you don’t know how much i blamed myself for it, how much i yelled at everyone for being grumpy about you looking just fine without me”
“you were the one to broke up with me” Mark mumbled in a little voice, almost whispering “i suffered too but i had to go to work everyday, i couldn’t just go and cry at the stage”
“i didn’t even had time to sleep or eat, you think i had time to beg you to come back?” his words have hit Yoon hard in the chest, it was true but she wanted caring gestures, an idealized attitude.
“i didn’t wanted you to beg, i wanted you to send a text or even just a call a week” Yoon smiled with empty eyes “i guess we were kids, what were we doing playing boyfriend and girlfriend”
“i just wanted you to be more empathetic and understand that i just debuted, it wasn’t that hard Byun HaYoon” Mark was mad again, calling Yoon by her government name and shit.
“and i wanted someone to trust and rely back at the fact that my parents didn’t support me, and YeRim was promoting her hated debut” she said quietly again, none of the sides calming down, just outing their hidden feelings.
“and ChanHee was just there?” Mark needed to clarify that doubt for his own sanity, so he asked skeptically raising his eyebrows.
Yoon’s eyes turned up again, almost throwing flames, the talk was about her and Mark, what did ChanHee had to do with it?
“leave ChanHee out of this!” she exclaimed loudly and Mark grinned unamused.
“why? did you promise him your unconditional love? or to protect him no matter what?” Mark said sarcastically the same words she whispered to him one night after a tiring schedule.
“i do, because i loved you and i think i was being taken as a joke”
Yoon couldn’t take it anymore, she was tired and Mark was too stubborn to get her point.
Mark was tired and Yoon didn’t understand that he needed support too.
Both selfish, both childish.
“get out” she said under her breath, angry and sad tears threatening their way out.
Mark looked at her but she didn’t looked back, not wanting him to see the mess she was for him.
still angry he walked his way to the door “i wish i could hate you HaYoon” he mumbled as he slammed the door.
