Who of the haikyuu boyzz would be into an awekward, kind and happy-go-lucky type of girl?

Bokuto: He is so happy and go lucky himself most of the time he needs that in his s/o. He wants someone positive and happy like him, and he wants to be able to look on the bright side of all situations. And also awkwardness? He finds it so adorable and will always lightly tease his s/o over how awkward they can be (never hurting their feelings though). He would cherish any s/o that had these traits.

Hinata: Much like Bokuto he is a very happy and positive person so he wants a positive and happy s/o. Also he is so awkward sometimes he doesn’t even try it just happens, so he has to have someone who can relate in those experiences, couples who are awkward together stay together.

Kenma: He is quiet and he knows it, a happy go lucky girl would help to pull him out of his shell and make him more social which is what he wants. Also he thinks that his s/o being awkward is reassuring, it means that if they aren’t always perfect at social stuff he doesn’t have to be either.

Iwaizumi: He’s kind of got a gruff exterior, so a girl completely opposite of this is very attractive to him, seeing how happy and care free they can be pushes him to be more like this as well, also his s/o being awkward? Good lord he thinks it’s the most prescious and adorable thing and he loves every second of it.

HERE YOU GO!!! Kenma is great he’s like my eighth favourite character to write do so this was fun to write 🌼🌼

You and Kenma were at the arcade, it was your favourite date spot and the both of you enjoyed going and playing the games there, of course Kenma was infinent times better though. Nevertheless you loved to watch him have fun, and you two would always get french fries after.

You an Kenma had been dating about a month thanks to some help from Lev and it had been going great, he wasn’t always the most vocal or showing of the fact he was your boyfriend but you knew he loved you, and you loved him.

Today the arcade was mostly empty, minus a few older boys in the back, you and Kenma went instantly to your guys’ favourite game in the arcade. It was a version of Legend of Zelda that had been put into arcade form, you both loved playing it more than anything.

“Kenma, I’m totally going to get the higher score this time, I’ve been practicing.” Kenma smiled softly and said “y/n, it’s a team work game nobody wins.” You huffed, “I still need to beat you.” You grabbed his hand and dragged him back to the game.

You were getting so in grossed in the game you barely noticed the new presence of people behind you, but Kenma did, he hit pause on the game you sharply tuned to him “Hey! I was just winning why’d you do th-”

Kenma quickly cut you off and spoke to the people behind you “What do you want? We are busy so please go” You had to admire, his bluntness could come in handy at times. The biggest of the boys leaned in towards you.

“I’ve never seen a girl in here, are you sure you know what your doing? The fashion games are at the front.” Heat rose to your cheeks, who did this guy think he was? Another of the boys grabbed at your shoulder, “Hey you could always come hang with us, we could show you a really fun game.” His tone of voice made you feel sick to your stomach.

“Listen, I don’t think that’s a great idea, I’m here with my boyfriend and it’s a date night but thanks for offering goodbye.” You were rushing your sentences in a hope to get rid of the scary boys.

The big one grabbed your wrist, you started to panic and struggle against his grip. “Listen, I don’t like being ignored so unless you want trouble you better st-” Kenma quickly stood up.

“Hey let go of her.” He grabbed you and pushed you behind him, acting as a shield for you, tears were prickling in your eyes the situation felt too intense. “I don’t know what you think is going to happen but get lost. She said no and that should be enough.” The group looked at him in anger, then one of them pushed him down hard “Fine, she’s not worth it anyways, let’s go guys.” As soon as they were out of sight you flew down by Kenma.

“KENMA! Are you okay? Oh my god you’re bleeding!” He looked at his hand and saw a small cut on his palm. You helped him up and hugged him. “Thank you, I never knew you could be so heroic!”

He was blushing hard at your guys’ closeness, he softly stroked your hair “yeah no problem, they were idiots anyway, Lev once followed me here and they bothered him too. Why don’t we go get some fries now?” You sniffled and nodded your head.

As he took your hand and lead you to the diner you looked at him in admiration. He’s not always the most vocal boyfriend but he loved you and you loved him, and that was enough for you.

OKAY BUT I NEED BOKUTO AND KUROO ACCIDENTALLY HAND CUFFING THEMSELVES TOGETHER AND THE READER HAVINGG TO SAVE THEM (nothing kinky just them as idiots)

Omfg I loved writing this (WARNING MILD SWEARING IN IT) but TBH I was dying of laughter while writing this I hope you love it as much as I loved writing it 💕💕💕

“Y/N! Open the door it’s an emergency!” You heard a loud banging at your door and what sounded like Bokuto. What in the world was going on and why were they at your house at 6 in the morning.

This better be a real emergency or you swear to god you will slap both of them. You sleepily make your way to the door when you open it though you were not ready for what you saw.

Bokuto, and Kuroo handcuffed together, with what looked to be a chair hanging from the chain in the middle.

“What the fuck?” You didn’t know what else to say, how did your idiot friends manage this one. Kuroo grabbed your shoulder with his free hand, “Y/n, we messed up bad, we need help.”

As you tried to hold back your laughter, you ushered them in admiring how both boys were still in their pyjamas. Well looks like your day is planned now.

“Okay, let’s start with trying to pry these open, do you want me to call Akaashi?” Both boys quickly stood up and yelled “NO!”

Bokuto explained that Akaashi had told them not to buy the handcuffs and to not mess with them, but here they are now.

“Why the hell did you put them on in the first place?” You had gotten a pair of pliers beneath the metal and were attempting to pry them open.

“Well this idiot owl here told me he had a magic trick, so of course I was like alright bro lets do it, and then of course it didn’t work.”

“Hey! It would have worked if you hadn’t DROPPED THE DAMN KEY!” Oh no, now they were yelling, thus wasn’t going to go well.

“Oi, both of you shush, it’s too early to yell. Also where is the key? This isn’t working.” You threw the pliers down in frustration, then looked to the two boys still stuck together. You knew you shouldn’t but you had to have a picture.

“Hey! We came over here for help! Not public humiliation. I dropped the key down an air vent at Bokuto’s house.” Okay figures.

You decided that your best option here was to get them apart then find the key, they both were messin with eachother now, Bokuto kept flicking Kuroo’s hair, and Kuroo was “accidently” stepping on the others toes.

“Okay you two we are going on a field trip, if you dropped it in the air vent it had to go somewhere.” You helped the boys stand and lead them through the door. How did they even get to your house in the first place? It’s way too far to walk.

Bokuto seemed to have read your thoughts, “we took a bus here and it was the most traumatising thing in my life please don’t make us do that again.” Luckily you had a car.

The ride there was mainly quiet minus Kuroo complaining that Bokuto whistles through his nose when he breathes. You decided to poke more fun at them. “You know everyone on the bus must have assumed you two got into a kinky situation.” They both looked at eachother with a look of horror then Kuroo dramatically put his head in his hands (to the best of his ability).

Soon you arrived at the house, “Okay you guys stay in the car let me see if I can find the key”. You sprinted into the house and went straight to the vent where Kuroo dropped it. You were met with a nice surprise, the key never went down the vent it landed next to it. The idiots didn’t look hard enough.

When you went back out and they saw you had the key Bokuto dragged Kuroo out of the care with the chair ratting between them. “Y/N YOU ARE A MIRACLE I THINK I COULD KISS YOU!” You were about to object when Bokuto gave you a sloppy one on your lips.

"EW BOKUTO!" He gave you a sheepish grin, Kuroo was much politer and simply kissed your cheek in gratitude.

You quickly unlocked them and once they were free Kuroo locked eyes with Bokuto, and started chasing him. Bokuto was screaming and trying to escape. You fell back on the grass and decided to take a power nap, how you ended up with such insane friends you’d never know. But hey at least it’s never dull.
