You’ve made no claims of leaving or such but I don't know how active you might be. I feel like I have to say your art is amazing, and your comics have made me emotional in a way I'm literally incapable of describing. Seeing your works makes me want to write my own, or at least pick up "forgotten" writing projects that I've regrettably not finished. Your work is amazing, and wherever you are now, I hope you are doing well. If not, I hope things begin to look up. (I know this isn't really an ask but I felt the need to say something.)

omg i’m so sorry i’m only seeing this now, but you’re right- i have no claims of ever leaving! i’ve just been very bad at keeping up with posting as i’ve been juggling a lot of health and work issues for a while now (recently trying to get over this whole flu going around).

but this means so so much to me! i also normally get inspiration from looking at others’ works of art/writing, so to be that inspiration for you is so heartwarming to hear <3

happy new year everyone! as a small update, i did indeed finish the first part of the s&s comic but then i ended up hating it so im going to be redoing it over again to match my newer improved art/style. (like this but with color). the original scrapped version will be available for my patreon and kofi members.

The Sniper was young, awkward, and didn’t know exactly what he was getting into even as he took the next train to a sleepy little farm town called Harvest. He couldn’t go back home by this point and, frankly, didn’t want to. The job he applied for gave him more opportunity than most in getting paid well off, and he’d stick firmly by it so long as it stayed that way to support his folks back home.

Unbeknownst to the Sniper, however, more problems than the simpler ones he encountered back in Australia would arise after his arrival. Problems that would domino, crash, and echo throughout the longevity of his future with Mann Co. until its very end…

well i’m so glad you asked! the spy and sniper you’re talking about actually belong to my gorgeous gorgeous fiancé, @b0n3d-berylbones

our tf2 ocs have a shared universe where the red haired spy and black haired sniper you saw me drawing a lot are from a different base than where my characters you’ve seen (ie mason, ludwig, gaspard, etc) are from. -their ocs are from harvest and mine are from gullywash

they have connecting history and their “canon” stories do indeed coincide! two threads, one stitch and severed & splintered are our own personal tellings of the sides of our own characters before we intend on sharing what the true story is (damaged devotees). i won’t spoil anything, but that’s the short answer as to who these characters are, if you wanna know more i highly recommend reading their fic as they write it! (characters of mine are likely to be mentioned in it as well)

i’ve been trying very hard this month to truly hone in my style and figure out what palette/paneling/backgrounds/etc i want to do for the remake of s&s as i have many ideas but the execution of just one is daunting lmao

(again, if you wanna see my progress moving forward- you can support me on kofi or patreon to see that i promise this will be the last time i mention it haha)

the writing side of it will remain mostly the entire same, with some minor changes. those changes won’t affect the story as a whole but better pacing in some areas and little tweaks to the specifics of events (specifically for Gaspard, the blu spy) as i had a lot of time these last few years thinking on the exacts of the technology in his situation.

it’s why moving forward you all already haven’t seen and will continue to not see gaspard with his white hair anymore. yes, that was a crucial part of his story that had to be altered for the sake of my brain understanding ludwig’s technology. i promise it will all make sense when the comic is done, but hopefully these changes will also make the remake more engaging for those already more than familiar with it (:

i intend on redoing my old severed and splintered comic before i’ll move onto other continuations of said comic focusing on the other characters involved. those who subscribe to my patreon and/or kofi will be able to see my work in progress on this as i don’t intend to share any of it elsewhere until it’s completely done

a long long time ago i did a poll on instagram for which character’s story you guys would like me to focus on next and it appeared to be in favor of redrawing s&s first and then going to the story of gaspard, the blu spy, afterwards. let me know if you guys like the idea of that or have another character in mind you’re interested in seeing first. i’ll likely do a poll here as well when it comes down to making the next comic- which won’t be for a long time lmao

God Severed and Splintered is so so so so so SOO good!!!! I can't put into words how much LOVED this rollercoaster of emotions <3 AND THE ENDING AUGHHHH
