“I’M COMING FOR THAT TITLE, GOKU!”
“Not many know this, but there existed a God of Destruction before me that hailed from earth. All records of his past deeds have been lost to time. Or rather, it’s as though we simply lost our ability to see them. No one knows where he is to this day.. His name is.. Joh-- Mmm. I shouldn’t say. Lest we summon him to doom us all..”
“I’m trying to sleep here. The least you obnoxious louts could do is keep your voices down.”
@hakaiishin
When you said I could probably become a Destroyer in another universe; that implies you still plan to be in your position for a while to come still. What, are there term-limits or something?
“Mnn.. Yes, well.. Let’s just call it that for now. Though I honestly wouldn’t spend much time pondering on it. Chances are you’ll all die of old age before I even come close to finishing my ‘term’. Unless you plan on trying your hand at it from the afterlife. I suppose that might be viable.“
“Mnn.. Seems I’ve taken an impromptu nap. Hopefully too much time hasn’t gone by.“
“ I’m looking.. at you. ” More like, staring, in all actuality. “ Are you a Phantom? ” She was thinking about sealing him, he didn’t seem aggressive, and his food does look delicious.
“Am I a ‘phantom’? How rude. You interrupt my meal and this is the first thing you think to say? I would have hoped that the inhabitants of this world were well mannered, at the very least.”
The deity regarded her with no ill will, despite his words making it seem as though he felt insulted. It was a minor offense, at best, so he chose not to take it to heart.
“I am a God of Destruction. You may address me as Lord Beerus. Charmed, I’m sure.”

“Hmph.. What a dready locatiion this is. Though I suppose even a place such as this must have something of value. Or rather, something of delicious value.”

“What are you looking at..? If it’s my food you’re after, then I suggest you keep walking. I went to great lengths to obtain this.”
All of my nyas. Like this for a starter! No cap for now.

“What is it? I’m rather busy at the moment, as you can clearly see.”
Apparently grooming himself was a matter of great importance.. Apparently.

“What’s this? A stranger come to join in my feast? Awfully brave of you to invite yourself to the banquet of a god.”
SUPERMASSIVE BLACK HOLE
Travelers from other realms were rare, for few beings have the technological & intellectual capacity to step beyond the confining dimensions of their existence, their minds chained to the burdens of the mortal coil, the affairs of ascended beings far beyond their understanding. Strange eyes studies this new entity, this visitor from another realm of life & death, a different universe with different stars & different forms of organic life. He speaks of her empire as cold. Is it because of the stars she eats or the civilizations she harvests? ( O, but she is divine & she is horrific! A cosmic being that rules over the Universe YHWH created, growing nations & reaping them like the crops of the field. Death begets new life, new life begets more knowledge, she turns their cities into ash & their people become the building blocks for the Old Machines. That is the ultimate fate of all life. ) Teeth-rattling, abyssal vocals compose her reply, the the fabric of reality, space, & time warping around her eldritch image.
❝ Many have called me such. What I am is beyond comprehension. ❞
Her words carried a weight to them that differed from that of the Destruction god’s. This being was not one who’d reached the heights of power she had in a casual way, unlike himself. No, there were likely a great deal of hardships she had been forced to face. A great amount of suffering. Tempered in flames and molded into something other. Something greater. Though they both reached the apex, they were still world’s apart in that regard. A tyrannical sloth who knew little of hardships and a battle hardened warrior whom had become the void itself..
“Hmm~ I see, I see. I suppose you are vastly different from most beings I’ve come to know as ‘gods’. If there is one thing I can say for certain, it is that you are unique to this universe alone. An anomaly among anomalies. Perhaps the trip here was well worth it after all.”
‘ My parents told me I developed them around 3 years old. ‘
‘ Time? I do not believe I have enough skill nor power to travel through something so interchangeable as time. Space, however, is something I’ve began travelling through, at the moment it is just short distances. There is lore within the books of my ancestors that a certain beast of gold can unlock much more power, It is said they can cross throughout dimensions, And even have enough power to form black holes. Sadly…I’ve had no luck in finding them. ‘
Her tone lightens, as she gives a small wave and chuckle. ‘ Olympia is my name, by the way. Humans do possess names, you know. ‘
So she was a goldmine of untapped potential. Perhaps the single being on this planet closest to achieving the level of godhood, though just shy of it’s grasp. If tutored, just how far could she go? What sort of being could she develop into? Could she possibly.. No, that was but wishful thinking. And yet, the thought plagued him. Like an itch he was forced to acknowledge. Could she possibly become a being that rivaled him?
He wanted to know. He had to know. If only to relieve the boredom he’d been forced to endure for so many centuries. Ah, but it would surely take time. Humans were always difficult to make use of, unless ‘bonds’ were forged.
“Hmm.. You said this was a gym. What sort of training do you provide here?”
he melted from the shadows, the appassionata in f-minor with a chilling calm that only the dead did possess.
( for we are all at peace in death, we are our most powerful when we are dead! )
serpentine pupils looked upon the amethyst-coloured feline entity with a sharpness that could cut titanium, and a sneer may have graced his mien should he have felt so inclined as to offer forth any semblance of emotion.
the snakes slithered beneath his flesh as he addressed the other, tone brutally cold.
❝ i was never one to tolerate insolence. who you are or who ‘whis’ is would be none of my concern, now, should you have anything of importance to offer me in conversation, you may speak. otherwise, take your leave. ❞
Darkness had taken tangible form. Almost as if it were a manifestation of all things sinister. There could be no doubt that the entity he had been sent find was this man. So human he seemed at first glance, though he had far transcended the realm of mortals, it seemed. He could see why someone such as this was considered.
His haughty tone rivaled even that of the god’s, which left the surrounding area with a feeling of volatility. Beerus was something of an impulsive sort. Even the smallest excuse would warrant a rather.. irresponsible response from him. However, he had been urged to not behave in a ‘child-like’ manner. As such, he would stay his hand for as long as he was able.
“Now now, no need to be so cold. I’ve little patience for these types of things myself, but I’m forced to follow procedure. Let’s you and I have a small chat.. concerning destruction.”
❝ Yep! You know me, Lord Beerus. Gotta put my best foot forward! ❞ Though even his monstrous reserves give out over time. Whis’ training regimen isn’t what he would call easy. At all.
“I see. I pray that you maintain such optimism during your training.. Otherwise, you’ll die.”
Whis’ training regimen was indeed not for the faint of heart. Even Beerus had some difficulty completing it. And should he attempt it now, he probably wouldn’t be able to do it without putting in a bit of effort.
“—this ‘realm’ exists for those who have passed on. Are you telling me it’s your wish to die? I can surely oblige– otherwise you have no business here.”
“A realm for the dead, is it? How intriguing..”
No.. Perhaps more intriguing was the fact that this human had somehow managed to sneak up on him without him noticing. Granted his thoughts had been overtaken by the desire to feast on unknown treats, but it was still a rather remarkable accomplishment. Ah.. But this woman wasn’t quite human, was she?
“I take it you are a defender of this realm, or something of the sort. Surely you could offer your hospitality to someone seeking food, no? In fact, I urge you to.”
