GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
+ Be a Hakuhiro fan!
+ Anyone can participate - all skill and ability levels are welcome. Please do not discourage yourself from participating because you think you aren't "good enough."
+ Be kind and respectful - ship hate, character bashing, and negative vague-posting will not be tolerated.
+ No AI-generated content will be accepted. If you need a metaphor, it would be similar to receiving a handmade gift and giving a pre-used Target gift card in return. If you need a beta reader or feedback, or even just feel "stuck," please let the Mods know and we will be happy to help you out.
+ You must have a Twitter OR Tumblr account and be open to receiving DM's from Mods! This will be the primary method of communication for gift assignments.
+ This is an entirely SFW event, meaning that NSFW content will not be accepted. Because Kagurabachi does have some mature topics in the narrative (e.x., canon-typical violence, death, abuse, etc.), these topics will be considered "free game" unless the requestor or receiver says they do not want that topic to be included in their gift or prompt.
ABOUT THE GIFTS
+ We would like to keep this event relatively small, so we are asking people to only request/create fanfiction and fanart at this time.
+ Fanfiction: 1000 word count minimum, no maximum
+ Fanart: one completed lineart minimum, can be colored/rendered if the creator would like to do so
+ You only have to complete one gift. If you’d like to do more, you’re more than welcome to!
+ If you are unsure your project meets these specifications, please DM on Twitter or Tumblr.
HOW IT WORKS
+ Between March 28 - April 18, fill out the Sign Up Sheet in order to participate.
+ You will be asked for 3 - 5 ideas for a gift you would like to receive. Some ideas on what would be good to include in a prompt are: genre (fluff, angst, etc.), AU or canon-compliant, general plot beats, etc.
+ You will also be asked if you have any DNW's, or "Do Not Wants." For example, if you would like for your gift to not mention Hakuri's abuse, or if you would prefer not to write about it, please include it there.
+ Sign Ups will close on April 18. Mods will work to match people based on their requests and DNWs.
+ Gift assignments will be released on April 25, and you will have until July 1 to complete your gift. You will need to provide a copy to Mods by July 1.
+ DO NOT contact the person you are making a gift for about it. If you have any questions, please go through the Mods. Let's keep the pairings a surprise!
+ DO NOT give sneak-peeks or vague-post about the project you are creating online. Please wait until the gifts are all released on July 8, so the surprise doesn't get spoiled.
+ Life happens - if you are unable to complete your gift by the deadline, please let us know! We know things come up, and would prefer to know sooner rather than later.
