"Yes, we will see that again and we'll know why we saw it," says King. "It's definitely a part of Alison's storyline."

"[Jenna] knows A.D. exists and she is anonymously working for A.D. in ways that, we find out moving forward, a few other people on our show are as well," teases King.

Spencer's going on an emotional journey in 7b

Mary (Andrea Parker) being Spencer's (Troian Bellisario) mom "was a huge revelation, not just for Spencer, but for the Pretty Little Liars and for the show and for the storyline," says King, "so it's definitely a huge part, the driving engine of Spencer's emotional story as we come back next April."

"This storyline also originated from the books. In Sara Shepard's books, Spencer was adopted, so very early on it gave us the idea for this storyline. We have a lot of fun in this final season circling back to a lot of Sara's original concepts from the books."

Wren is back ... for multiple episodes

"We'll see him in more than one episode, which is fantastic ... When I first sat down to talk to Julian about coming back, he had never had a scene with Ezra, and he and Ian [Harding] are friends in real life, so he's like, 'Please can I have a scene with Ezra?', so that was really the originator of the first scene that we'll see Wren in when he comes back."

Toby's car crash is just a car crash

"The car crash really is sort of saying no one ever really does leave Rosewood, especially not from this group," says King. "It's really more a metaphor than anything else. I don't want to talk about where it goes, but people know how I love the character of Toby, so you can read into that what you'll read into that. He's one of my favorites on the show, it would be hard to make that phone call to him [to tell him his character is being killed off]."

Spencer’s gonna survive. I’m almost compleely sure that’s her in the first picture - you see a hint of her fringe and I think that’s the coat she wore during the first episode after the timejump. Also: 5 dolls, 5 girls, Spencer is alive.
