fuck that. biden wasn’t my first choice or even my fifth but you know what he is? a democrat. and democrats can be shamed and pushed to change. there is not an elected republican who has not debased themselves to trump at some point and there is not a democrat who cannot be scared into doing what we want. and if they don’t? we primary them. but don’t confuse democrats for republicans. read up on every bill the democratic house has passed that mitch mcconnell is currently blocking. protections for voting rights. the equal rights amendment. expanded pandemic benefits. an end to qualified immunity. all passed by democrats and are being blocked by the republican senate and president. and they will continue to block every single thing that comes to them if we don’t keep the house, take the senate, the white house, and state legislatures. don’t vote third party. don’t sit this one out. you need to vote for biden. you need to vote for democrats up and down the ballot. no matter where you live you need to vote for them. you need to organize in every swing state. we need to so when the congressional districts are redrawn after the census and RBG dies and you want even a post office named we have people in power who can be pressured into doing it right. we need people who can be pressured into protecting voting rights and the supreme court and healthcare. but we can’t do any of that with trump in office. vote him out. do it for me and everyone else who will suffer if he and his enablers are allowed to continue unchecked for another term. vote him out.
