these past few days, i've been thinking about what to do with this blog and i've come to the decision to move on.

i've always felt the need to keep up with the jones', and add any face claims to my muse list that i'm either interested in or i see my partners want to write against. while there is nothing wrong with this, i've noticed a pattern where most of these muses end up having no kind of background, and end up being dropped after a certain amount of time.

ever since i was young, i've enjoyed writing.

the more i find myself with one-liners, and short replies, the less and less interested i am with writing. there is NOTHING wrong with this sort of style, but it is not my cup of tea.

i need muses with backstories. i need plots. i need stories. i need opportunities to create a world of muses with writing partners.

so, i will be leaving this indie, and going to one that is more private and heavily focusing on developing characters as well as plotting.

if you are interested with writing that has a little more content to it, and not just a big o'l list of face claims, then feel free to message me on here and ask for my new indie. i will gladly give it to you.

i will not be writing short responses there. i will not be doing random starters or one liners or random muses. things will be planned. plotted. intertwined together. please keep this in mind !

anyway, if that's not your cup of tea, then that's okay. i might return to this indie at some point in time, but right now i really want to focus on content and not just pumping out replies and clearing my drafts.

i wish you all the best, and have enjoyed writing with each and every one of you. this blog will remain, as i said, because i may return to it one day.

If you’ve only played with 1 of my muses in the past, but think you’re limited to just pick one and only one for life, you are WRONG. Dani leaned her head back once she finished her messages, waiting for him to respond. She snorted and blew a raspberry at the ceiling when she read his responses.

[ Dani ] - Guess you'd have to get more IF we watch more. Not my problem

He no longer had any interest in the party, his entire attention on the phone currently sitting in his lap. Anthony took a swig of his drink as he read her responses, able to tell that she had definitely had one too many drinks. He was still on his first one, nursing it for the last hour or so.

On the drive there, Kat had been on her phone for most of it, she had things planned for the night. If he was going to be an asshole to her, she was going to make his life a living hell for the night... and even longer if she could manage it. The one thing about Kat is that if you were to mess with her, she would fight back twice as hard and make you regret it.

Kat had forgotten how cheery his mother was. Not that she was going to complain about it. If anything, she preferred his mother over her own. Her whole attitude changed when the door opened and they were greeted. From the scowling she was giving James to her body just relaxing and a huge smile appearing on her face. It was scary how easily she could switch her personality to what it needed to be.

"Oh, I love the scruff thing going on. It's when he has the mustache, that's when it looks like a caterpillar crawled up on his lip and died," she let out a small laugh, joking with his mother, but was sure that James caught onto the hatred she had towards it. In all honesty... she loved how he looked with the scruff. It was one of the things that actually made him attractive in her eyes.

As his mother grew closer, the smile stayed on her lips, leaning in to give her a hug. "It's always amazing to see you. You look amazing, like always." Pulling back, Kat moved beside James, linking her arm with his. "Actually.. on the way here, my mother had to cancel. She's sick and doesn't want it to spread to us.. so we can stay longer, no need to rush out of here, right, babe?" Kat turned her head with a cheeky smile on her lips and a sparkle of evil in her eye. "Plus, he was talking about how much he had missed you guys. I don't want to tear him away from you guys... and there's actually some news I have to tell you... but it should wait until we're with the whole family. Unless everyone is here already?" Kat's smile turned sickly sweet as she turned her attention back towards his mother and sister.

His mother laughed at her joke, whispering loud enough into her ear so James could hear that she agreed. "Anything else the two of you want to tell me to change about myself? Go on, I know you've been dying to." His tone was sarcastic, and he didn't even bother to hide the annoyance. This always happened with his parents. Marnie was the golden child while he could use some work.

"I'll go and grab us drinks." He mumbles, taking the time to walk into the kitchen to grab himself a beer and...whatever he could find for Kat. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea. The more he thought about it, the more he realized it would have just been easier to tell his parents that they had broken up.

James returns, just in time for the blonde to pull him close and announce that her mother had cancelled. Fuck. He should have came up with some other excuse, one she couldn't twist and turn. "Right. Of course. Looks like we'll be spending the whole evening, after all." Tight lipped smile, even though he could see how delighted his mother became with the news. "That's just perfect!" She exclaims. "Yeah, perfect." He mumbles under his breath, using his free hand to bring his beer up to his lips and take a rather large sip.

What news was she talking about? Brows furrow as he looks from her to his family. "No, love, everyone is here with the arrival of the two of you!" Mrs. Becker responds. "So...what's the news, Kat?"
