My children are still beside me, but fear never leaves their eyes. Every day, I struggle to provide food, clean water, clothes, and even their most basic needs. As a mother, it breaks my heart to see them suffering while feeling helpless.
try to stay strong for my children, but the truth is that I am exhausted. All I want is to give them back even a small part of the safety and dignity they have lost.

Hello my friend I am a mother of two little girls from Gaza, Sara (6 years old) and Ameera (5 years old) 💔Before the war, we lived a simple life with a home and dreams like any other family. Today, our home has been destroyed, and we are living in a damaged tent after long months of displacement, fear, hunger, and loss.
My daughters spend their days standing in long lines for water and bread instead of living their childhood 🥺 My husband was also injured while trying to bring food for us during the famine.
I created this fundraiser with a broken heart, only hoping to protect my daughters and give them a chance to live with dignity, safety, and hope again 🙏

I have this crazy notion that sports are about the actual players on the actual field/court, participating in the actual game giving their childhoods and potentially sacrificing their long term health to get to be the actual players on the actual field of play playing the actual game first and foremost, and then very crucially but also very very secondarily does it become about the fans, the cities, the countries, which color the jersey is which logo of which billion dollar franchise is on said jersey allegedly tying them psycho socially to the residents of this or that city that the players aren't even from. Kind of apply that same mentality to international athletics as well. Everyone gets to this ultimately too why not start out with that mindset like if y'all ever ended up in a different spot in any game y'all long term follow it'd be different. We used to live a simple, safe life, trying to provide our children with a decent life despite all the hardships.
Our home was our only safe haven, the place that brought us together and protected us from life's harshness.
But the war changed everything… In moments, we lost our entire home, and our lives were transformed into fear, displacement, and daily suffering.
We escaped the bombardment with no clothes, no food, nothing to take with us except our lives and our children.
Even more difficult is that my brother Mahmoud has a mental disability and needs medication and constant care.
Since the beginning of the war, obtaining treatment has become extremely difficult.
Every day I fear his condition will worsen due to the lack of medication and the harsh conditions we are living in.
My children now live without a home and without stability.
They go to sleep in fear, asking me when we will return to our normal lives.
I have no answer but patience and prayer. I'm not asking for the impossible.
All I wish for is to be able to secure treatment for my brother,
food and shelter for my family,
and to restore to my children the sense of security they've lost.
Any help, no matter how small, can make a huge difference in our lives,
and could be the reason for easing the suffering of a family that has lost everything because of the war.
