i feel like the reason behind junkrat’s greed is a lot of untapped potential. i think inferring that he’s so concerned about money and material goods is because he lived in a “steal or die” type of environment is reasonable and already a good starting point, but exploring that mindset further is something i wish the game/supplemental comics and shorts did more.

like, imagine how interesting it would be to see behind that manic persona and see what is actually a desperate, paranoid man who just wants to stay alive. how that behavior follows him even when he’s no longer in junkertown. how that behavior affects his relationship with people who see him as a dangerous criminal but have never gone through that kind of crazed, humanly innate desire for safety.

i’m sorry if i haven’t been using tumblr as of lately, college is draining me as usual, BUT i do have some things to share for my roadrat ballet au that’s coming soon as it should be 🤍✨

yess, the roadrat ballet au finally has a name for a fanfic that i’m working on !! hell, i already got the setlist for the story as usual . i have 5/14 chapters left to complete and i’m super excited for you to read it via ao3 (i think it’s the only way) but i’m not sure if i should post it on @dhalsimxhonda or just simply make a new ao3 acc just to focus on overwatch & roadrat fics . as usual, here are the setlist for the story :

the reason why i’m writing the chapters way before releasing them on ao3 is because it’s to prevent myself from leaving it as a hiatus and it’s a special planner just for me . i really don’t want to forget about this au and it has been in my heart for since the last few months . i do hope this story can try to make you get the feeling of nostalgia when you first read an overwatch fic back in 2017 (i literally played ow2 in 2023🧍🏻‍♀️) .

after i finish the story, i will be looking for beta readers for any checkups for grammars, mistakes, things that don’t make sense, etc . even if english is my first language, i still feel like it’s necessary for me to do so . on the other hand, i’m also planning to make an acc for the ballet au as well to retweet fanarts/c0mmissions/and news about the new chapters published .
