SHOUT OUT TO EVERYONE WHO STILL TRIES TO GET BACK INTO THE SWING OF THINGS AFTER DEPRESSION HIT THEM HARD. THERE ISN’T ENOUGH RECOGNITION FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO KNOW THAT THEY’RE GOING TO LOSE INTEREST AND MOTIVATION AGAIN BUT PUSH THEMSELVES TO DO STUFF ANYWAYS. YOU ARE FIGHTING A DAILY BATTLE WITH YOUR OWN THOUGHTS AND YOU’RE STILL COMING OUT ON TOP, YOU’RE ALL BRAVE AS FUCK
Thank you.
Sick of trying to make shit work.

Other Resource Lists
(While I tried to include the most helpful resources I could here (i.e., resources that lend themselves to one-on-one communication, individual reading, etc.), there are plenty of other great resources, including regional resources, listed in these links. Some of the resources are specific to men and others aren’t, but they are all helpful for male survivors.)

**Help for Battered Men: Online Resources
**Help for Battered Men: National and International Resources
**Help for Guys: Help for Victims (some resources for men, many general resources)
You guys still don’t get it do you. Instead of this anti woman bullshit, how about you list a bunch of sites for victims of sexual assault that is for EVERYONE. You can reiterate that men can be the victims of sexual assault all you want. That is good since some people still think that they can’t, but listing a bunch of sites that are only for men is terrible. If someone made a list that was only for women, the same people who support this would be complaining about that. They should complain about that, but it is hypocritical to go and do this.
How is having resources for battered men taking away resources from women, though? Looking at the links, at least two of them lead to RAINN, which I’m pretty sure is a feminist organization (or at least is linked with feminist causes), and 1in6 is partnered with RAINN.
I don’t even have an objection to women-only hotlines: the problem is that when sexual abuse of men and boys is something that gets so little attention, so why shouldn’t there be a space for men’s concerns?
Frankly, your argument smacks of “I am feel uncomfortable when they are not about me?” That’s not cool.
