Lily tried not to laugh into her juice when Lysander seemed to be taken aback by her question. He knew all about her crush on Scorpius, and she thought it was only fair that she knew who he liked. Her eyes followed his to see the girls that were on the Quidditch team just gabbing away together. She couldn’t pick out exactly who he was looking at, but she could guess and be wrong.

❛ Who? Roxie? I could totally talk to her for you. I mean, I think that’s who you’re looking at over there. Roxie and I have been close since we were little, I’m sure she’d listen to me if I was like, hey, Lysander is hot, you should totally date. ❜

Lysander shook his head when she mentioned her telling her cousin. It wasn’t like Roxanne didn’t know that he liked her. She knew well and he wondered if she ever made a comment to any of her cousins. Probably not considering Lily just told him that. He bit his lower lip and cleared his throat. “I don’t think that’d be the best idea honestly..”

The main reason why Lysander gets detention is for going along with the Wotter kids’ plans and ideas. He however jokes that he blames them for it but he genuinely enjoys spending time with them and doesn’t know how to say no to anything they purpose unless it’s something incredibly dangerous or stupid.

Roxanne wasn’t expecting to see Lysander in Dublin. The girl had decided to come see the city and had completely fallen in love with it. She was even debating on staying here permanently. She had managed to get a job as a waitress and was heading to her flat when she spotted him. His scent was what gave him away first. The two were connected and there was no way to sever that. She had bit him and she would have to live with that for the rest of her life. It wasn’t like she never thought of Lysander because she did. Far too often. She walked over to him and stopped to look at him better now. He had longer hair than she was used to but he still had the same smile. She wanted to say something but instead Roxanne ended up practically throwing herself at him and wrapping her arms around his frame. If she said she didn’t miss him, it was a damn lie. She never stopped thinking about him. “It’s been more than too long, Lys…”

Lysander was almost tempted to step back when she came closer to him. Roxanne always knew how to talk better with actions rather than words. It’d be a lie if he said he wasn’t expecting her to walk away or even punch him. Roxanne had never been quite open about her feelings so he was expecting her to run. Lysander didn’t take long to return her embrace. He let himself get lost in it. The male buried his face in her hair and held her a little too close like if he let go, she’d disappear. She would always be the one who got away but now she was here in front of him, in his arms and he wasn’t going to let her go so easily this time.

“How long are you staying here?”

Lily peeled her eyes away to turn back towards Lysander as she hadn’t even finished her own pudding cup, smirking slightly at his response. She honestly didn’t know if Scorpius would kiss her back or just start screaming and honestly she was afraid for the latter but it was a thought.

Lysander had reached out to grab his cup of pumpkin juice. He took a drink but wasn’t expecting the sudden questions and almost ended up choking on his beverage. The male cleared his throat after he set his cup down and rubbed the back of his neck. “Sorry-- um... He looked up at to where she was sitting with her team. She was always smiling when she was which is what Lysander loved to see. He loved her smile the most. Unfortunately, he hadn’t spoken to her since their argument. He was looking at her cousin, Roxanne. He sighed and then looked back over at her. “I guess you could say that.”
