Somehow I think that dullness is gonna let up real soon.
So basically for now, us bringing in a storm behind us should be kept unwraps?

Damon & Enzo in Every Episode (1/∞)
Season Seven Episode Seven “Mommie Dearest”
“What is this, ‘Hamlet’ Community Theater?” Requested By Anonymous
“It’s not like I’m easy to get along with, so, I guess it’s not entirely your fault.” She laughed, slightly. “This was a mistake,” she said, regretting all of her honesty. “God, it was so much easier denying everything.”
"I think that was one of my favorite things about you though," he admitted, another grin forming on his face. "I hope you know I hate you for making me doing this," he said, jokingly but still some truth behind it.
“I hope she was a boring and terrible lay,” she said, sinking into her seat. “I hate you,” she said suddenly. “I hate that I care about you. I hate that you forgot about me. I hate that you could love someone else. I hate it. I hate everything about being your partner.”
He stayed quiet at her first remark, and took in a deep breath before leaning more forward. "And that is all my fault," he admitted, tone very low when saying that. "I'm sorry. I owe you that, I know. Maybe even a thousand more, and if you really don't think that I never cared than you're wrong. I care so much, and I paid the price for what I did. I am sorry that I put you through that.."
“Great. That makes me really happy that you were so confident. You’re still a fucking idiot and I don’t even know what the hell you got yourself into,” she said, a twisted smile forming on her face. “Did you even care?” she asked, the question coming out of no where. “When I left. Did you even notice?”
His head shook a bit, but a grin appeared on his face at her remark. "Well I figured we'd be talking about that now, but we'll get to that," he replied. Taking another drink from the bottle, Nathan could feel the effects of whatever she put in the drink as he set it down onto the table. "Not at first," he said honestly, as harsh it may have sounded. "But it didn't take long for me to realize that something was off," he quickly added.
“Nope. Still chalk full of trust issues, all thanks to you. I’m just sick of all the hiding behind wit and sarcasm. It’s tiering. I want everything out on the table. Thinking that something could have happened to you with so many things left unsaid made me sick,” she said, not able to hold back any of her words, no matter how much she may have wanted to. She took another drink, already feeling the effects wearing off. It was frustrating, but the close proximity to her partner just made her heal too quickly.
"We had quite a distance between us. You should know I would have been fine," he said, even if he knew deep down that he had been worried about her while he was gone. In such short time they had seeing each other time, it was nothing but their usual bickering they've always have been with each other. After she took her second drink, Nathan picked the bottle back up and took another drink of his own, a much longer timed swig to speed up this process to get where they needed to be.
“Let’s make it interesting this time, eh? Get everything out in the open,” Brooke said, as she grabbed the closest bottle of alcohol she could find. She covered the top of the gin with her hand and closed her eyes for a moment. When she opened her eyes, she took a shot straight from the bottle. “We’re gonna have to keep drinking this or the effects will wear off too quickly,” she explained, handing the bottle to Nathan. “Ready to only be able to tell the truth?”
Nathan sat down in the nearest seat, and leaned himself forward to rest his arms down onto the table. Eyes glared a bit as he tried to see what Brooke was doing, some caution rising when she had closed her eyes and he figured she was up to something. He hummed out a short chuckle between his closed lips, a corner of his mouth forming into a small grin as well. "I see trust has been thrown out the window," he said before he snatched the bottle and took a quick swig from it.
We fight. It’s what we do. Bored of it? You can leave. Go on another super secret mission. Just don’t get yourself killed, ‘cause frankly, I like living.
"Don't act like all of a sudden you didn't care that I left now. But fine, you want a fight? Pull up a bottle 'cause we have many years of making up for that.."
At least I wasn’t fucking some dumb blonde when you left. With how cryptic you were, you owed me a goodbye in person.
"In person? So we could have done what we're doing now? Arguing and you giving your implications that you want absolutely nothing to do with me? Well my apologies for not having time to play the game of back and forth with you."
Oh, my God. Nathan Hall in the flesh. Never thought I’d see the day. Since, ya know, I thought we only communicated through notes these days.
"What can I say? I'm old fashion and all. At least I was kind enough to leave a note when I left."
What? Don’t you think it’d be fun to make a bunch of drunk humans hallucinate? This town is just so boring. I need entertainment.
"I leave town for a few months and you've resorted into hanging out with the stale residents on this town. You're asking the wrong people that kind of question, Bumble Bee."
How is it every time I come back, this town tends to get more and more dull..
He wasn't sure why he was doing this. Not like he had really done this many times in the past before whenever he'd leave town, but with Carter being the one to invite him along, it must have been serious. Of course Nathan knew what he was walking into, which probably had been the reason why he found himself standing on the Stone's door step before meeting up with the Older Amet. Any other time Nathan would have let himself in, but instead he decided to show his manners and knock against the wooden door.
I believe that there’s good in everyone. And if anyone can dig out the best in a man, it’s Kit. I’m just scared for her safety. I mean, what am I supposed to think? He has a reputation. She can’t just ignore that.
And I assume you'll be wanting to use me as your example for that statement? I'm not disagreeing with you, Charlie. Personally I think it could go the other way with him bringing the worst out of her if his reputation is true. And that's coming from me.
Of course. But, I think we both know being in a confined space with each other would be detrimental to our health.
Unless I can find a way to refer us back to a recent night where it isn't so bad being confined together.
No dice, Newsie. The only way I’d be locked in anywhere with you again is if I’m tied up, unconscious, or dead.
Well, tying you up could easily be arranged if that’s your desire. Just for keeping a close eye and making sure you don’t get us killed, of course.
