Chloe stared wide eyed at the flustered and completely frazzled woman besides her. “You never mention that again, obviously! You just left the fence as it was!” She explained, though her tone made it seem as though the other should have already known that. She could tell that the woman had never done anything so reckless before, but thankfully Chloe was an expert. “Look, dude, they probably have the money to fix it, so don’t even worry about it, you’re a literally bad ass right now, and don’t worry, I won’t tell a soul…” Then, she knew she had to attack. “…if you help me out, I mean… like I sort of did.”
Could it be that easy? No. No it couldn’t. There was always a catch and as soon as she thought it the woman next to her delivered it; practically roping her into whatever she needed help with. Hallie, apprehensive to say yes or not to this because she was in enough trouble as it, if caught, stared at her. “Help? Help in what way? I’m the worst person in this town you can ask for that. You see how I’m handling this now, don’t you?”
