My Thoughts on the TS Ch.1 Preview!

No spoilers, but a cut anyway

Ok, if I had to rank the routes from fave to least it would be:

Vere

Ais

Mhin

Leander

Kuras

Which I feel like is a betrayal since Ais is my main. Vere's route was the best paced in my opinion. The Alchemist is my favorite background for Vere. To me, it makes the most sense with his collar.

Ais's just felt like a tidbit was missing. Like it needed a spoonful more. The devs weren't kidding when they said shit goes sideways for him pretty fast. But when I tell you, I was blushing through most of his route. The Exile is my fave so far though I haven't done the Alchemist with Ais yet.

In all honestly, Mhin is basically tied in spot 2. Loved the pacing of the events. So many shenanigans. I think the Alchemist is the best way to go for Mhin overall, but the Exile was good too.

Leander's route had some good pacing as well. But I hate this man so he will never be in the top of my list. For some reason, I expected the Exile to work the best, but the Alchemist was a little better imo.

Kuras's is the lowest bc only like one thing happened. The rest of the routes had kind of like a twofer deal. Unnamed is my go to for Kuras., but the Alchemist was a better helper in the clinic. Haven't tried the Exile with him yet.

Thoughts on MC:

I like the overall rizz and ability to think on their feet. Only little complaint is how the Exile is rattled by gore. Like it makes sense for the other two, but not so much the Exile in my opinion.

Did Ais name all his Soulless?

Yes, and it's never random. Pebble hoards and eats rocks. Bucket found a tin pail once and never let go. Happy grins constantly, even when he’s not supposed to. Ais says it's practical, but you can always hear the fondness in his voice 💞

🦊Vere's Sims 4 Apartment 🏠

This apartment was damn near my 13th reason. lol One -Vere's dusty purple and red color scheme. And two - the ceilings in this particular apartment are just wonky. 🙃 But I think I eventually got there.

I put Vere in the fashion district of San Myshuno in the ZenView Apartments. I feel like Vere in a modern AU would be some kind of influencer/designer so it ties in with his artistic abilities. This place had all the big windows for natural lighting, and he could use them and the balcony to draw while he people watched.

Here's what you see when you first walk in as well as the entry itself. I tried to take a little bit of pink and drag it through the length of the place.

Next is the kitchen that curves into a dinning/living room area. I am LIVING for that floral accent wall. MY GOD. I don't care that I had to put the washer and dryer in the kitchen, but that's the only place I could find for them. And it's most def a thing so it works. lol

Down stairs is a half bath. Nothing special. And the landing at the top of the stairs. I forgot the move that laundry basket xD so we can that's just how far Vere made it before he said fuck it. lol

Here's his art room/office/workout space. Lot's of mess made sense to me. He doesn't let anyone up here. There is another bathroom next to this room, but it's similar to the half bath. Just a shower added and diff wallpaper.

I tried to bring in more red from Vere's color scheme out in his bedroom. Especially since the Sims is lacking in the purple department.

And I had to give him these fairy light drapes for over the bed since his 90% of his outfit is very drape-y and flowy.

His on suite bathroom. We're gonna say he couldn't change the tub so he worked with the blue...

And last but not least: his artsy balcony space! Complete with a mini bar.

Mhin's Sims 4 Apartment 🏠

Mhin just seems like an apartment sorta person to me so I put them in a little brownstone in San Myshuno. Since we don't have any sort of bedroom revel for Mhin yet, I just went based off personality, character traits, and color scheme.

Mhin likes sweets so I felt like they may bake a little in their spare time.

I put quite a few cat trees in their apartment bc why would they not have cats. 🐈 I put some clutter to make the place look lived in, but I can see Mhin being kinda... mhinimal. I'll see myself out.

I'm pretty sure Mhin would never have any crow/raven themed in their place, but based off their monster form, I added a couple of nods to that- the accent wall in their bedroom and a crow skull in the dinning room. And even a couple of hints of them being nonbinary!

I gave them a little office space that no one is allowed into. hence the cat decals on the wall. I feel like Mhin would be a veterinarian or maybe something else in the medical field like a medical examiner's assistant or something where they can be more hands on with the anatomy of things.

And lastly, their bathroom. Nothing to special going on in there. And the balcony! I put a cat tree out there, bc I'm using my imagination that Mhin screened it in to make a catio.

Mhin's place was one of my faves to decorate. I guess bc they had less clutter so I wasn't as scared I may miss something. lol And I just like the dark blue color scheme. 💙

Ais' Sims 4 House

For the little modern AU shit I got bebopping around in my head.

I went with a more american style house that was super rundown but with a lot a zen décor. Like I imagine it was very rundown to begin with, and the landlord was like 'it's super cheap, but you gonna clean up yourself" and Ais just never did.

I put what truck I could find in the drive way. Gotta have a way to haul the doggos around. I picture him having a motorcycle as well, but that's not in the game that I know of.

Lots of junk from prev tenants, a big yard for his dogs, and even a little ode to Ocudeus pond. But that pond is functional, and your Sim has a chance to die if they jump in. So I thought that was fitting for an Ocudeus pond even though the water isn't red. lol He turned that bus shell in the backyard into a bar/storage area.

I tried to add as much japanese/zen decor as possible, but that's a department the Sims is kinda lacking in. Plus I don't own all the expansions/packs. I want that koi painting irl so bad.

Lots a junk in the garage. I like to imagine it's a mix of some stuff that was already there and things people have given to Ais, and he just doesn't want to throw it away. I feel like Vere would have painted the garage door.

I tried to follow the colors from his actual bedroom the devs posted. But lots of clutter and clothes on the floor that made it nowhere near the hamper. Gave him a pretty nice gaming setup since I think he'd love horror games.

A bathroom that's just big enough to do what you gotta do, and a pic of the map where I placed his house in Newcrest.

Hopefully this got my vision across lol It was fun to do, and maybe when I get more expansions/packs, I can revisit and redesign a little bit.

Tell us about your MC’s room! Is it spotless or completely cluttered? What’s under their bed?

Yzme's is just kinda messy. Honestly it would the state the wick room in the pic. Just more clutter like dishes she hasn't taken back to the kitchen, clothes, a journal or two, random stuff she's stole, and her knives are just laying about. Leander is not going to be happy about the fact that she draws/carves on the walls though...

Aelia's would be cluttered with all her hobby and craft stuff but in a organized way. Floor is spotless, surfaces well dusted, and bed made. She makes it a habit to clean up before she leaves her space for the day.

Halcyon's would look like unorganized clutter, but they know where everything is. Lots of papers, notebooks/pens, crystals, jewelry, and old tea cups. There's ink smears and coffee/tea stains all over the desk area.
