Even through their clothing the heat was a palpable thing and yet Donna’s skin was goose pimpled still. Terror had done this to her, and midnight nails clutched to the other Lord with white knuckled grip. Her breaths shallow and rapid, single eye darting this way and that. 

“Do not... you cannot...” 

She leaned closer still, ignoring the discomfort that sat heavy as iron in the pit of her stomach.
