it kinda spooked me when I saw the date of your last post bc i could relate a lot to the things u said abt being 17. so i hope you're doing ok wherever u are

let me tell you, it was super surreal logging into my vent poetry account from high school to see this (relatively recent) ask haha.

to answer your question, I'm doing pretty good. a lot better than i thought i would be. college is hard and exhausting but my outlook is a lot better than it was even just two years ago when i started this account.

I also mean this in the least weird way (I swear) but im glad my shouting to the void meant something to someone lol, or at the very least somebody heard it.

17 going on 18

being 17 is so wild because I always thought I knew what I wanted to do with my life. It's so easy to want to try and change the world and get a doctorate in astrophysics and a million other things but for some reason, right as those feelings reached their climax I'm craving simplicity. Maybe I just want to own a flower shop with someone I love and look at the stars with them and go to pottery classes and hike on the weekends.
