Starter Call!
Send âđâ and I will flip to a random page in a book and use the first line of dialogue I see as a starter.
â Mh. â He mumbles, taking a glance at the car.â Yeah alright. Just - in a bit of a hurry I guess so letâs get this right from the start.â Stiles offers, finally moving to the back of his car, routing through everything he had with him until he found what he needed. â And thereâs a good store not too far away, I can give you the directions.â
âAppreciate it, man. Wonât take long, I promise.â If he were what he hunted, this kid would be easy pickings. Heâs not even looking at Dean, not overly aware of his surroundings at all, but then again this really doesnât seem like the kind of area where a mindset like that would be ingrained in children. Friendly advice about that just might come off as creepy though, and he really does need the jump start, so he keeps it to himself save for a few calculating glances. âWhatâs a kid running around for with an arsenal of the mechanical nature, anyway. You apprenticing?â
âI - Yeah ? I have half a garage in my car. Something wrong with yours?â
âItâs a P.O.S., thereâs always somethinâ wrong with it.â Heâs just...not committed enough to bother with fixing it all. Itâs not his, after all. The comment is completed with a half-hearted kick to one of the tires, at least those are in good shape, and heâs flashing the stranger a smile. âHalf a garage, huh? Wanna jump me anâ point me to a parts store?â
notmyjeepyoucreep started following you
âHey man, wouldnât happen to have any jumper cables, wouldya?â

âGotta be able to handle impossible situtations, Sammy! People arenât gonna give ya slack to wiggle out of just because you bat your eyes at âem.â Survival, thatâs the name of the game here. Theyâve been playing since they were little, and with Dad gone Dean can at least pick up the slack here and there. In controlled amounts. Thereâs no way in Hell heâs going to do some of the things theyâve worked through growing up.
Dirt sliding between his fingers still causes his skin to prickle.
âCan time it, if ya want.â
Sam gave an aggravated sigh. He could never win. Dean always refused to give in unless it was beyond the point of reason. Unfortunately, they werenât there yet. He might as well accept the challenge. âFine. Time it⊠But if Iâm not out of this is an hour, then youâre untying me.â He at least needed some terms to this unexpected task. Sam started to determine how much movement he had, which wasnât much. âDean, you tied this too well. I canât get out.â If he was lucky, then he would actually listen, but he wasnât holding his breath.
âAn hour.â Itâs acceptable, he supposes, though with a stipulation in place he feels the need to double-check his work before leaving the younger Winchester to his task. âYou can do it, youâre resourceful.â Dean chides, making a mental note of the time before dropping onto the bed and snagging up the remote. A captor wouldnât watch their captive 24/7, not in most of the situations they get themselves into, and that lesson can always be dealt later once his brotherâs gotten better at getting out of his bindings.
Hey, so, Iâm back. Who would like to do somethinâ?
Domestic AUs
These are obviously gender-varied and inspired by slice of life things. Maybe not domestic per se, but just AUs with that homey, nostalgic feeling to them. Enjoy!

âYouâre not going anywhereâ
âExcuse me? You really think you can stop me?â
âI can. You owe me answers.â
[text]: I hope you werenât planning on getting much sleep tonight.
(Text) why you got something planned for me?
[text]: Yeah Iâve got a couple of ideas. [text]: Anytthing youâre not up for?
âI donât need you. I can do this alone.â
âBut you donât have to do it aloneââ Castiel retorted quickly, cutting the other off before he could quite finish. He knew that the other could handle it but doing this alone would not make things easier, only HARDER and Castiel couldnât help but worry. âLet me at least help you.â He added after a long pause, hoping maybe to convince him.Â
The interruption has him recoiling, surprise more than anything fueling the reaction. Itâs out of character and that alone should be indication enough as to just how serious Cas is, but Dean only snorts. Pride; one of many sins the Winchester grips with both hands, and his stubbornness keeps him from letting go. âCute, man. Real sweet. But what could you do, anyway?â Nothing. âIâve got it under control.â
One More Sleepless Night -//-Closed
The trouble with being âgiftedâ? Itâs a curse, not a blessing. The second your family picks up on even a hit of exceptional ability, they shove it down your throat until youâre choking and gagging for even a hint of normalcy. But by then itâs too late. âNormalâ isnât within the scope of comprehension anymore. So you resign yourself. Swallow your metaphorical medicine, or not so metaphorical in most cases, and resign yourself to mediocrity in the only place you can find it: a school for other âgiftedâ children. Thatâs how I got here.
The notebookâs snapped closed with a snort, this page at least managing to stay intact unlike its predecessors. Itâll probably wind up confetti on his dorm roomâs floor by the dayâs end, but for now the book as a whole is shoved into the bag at his hip. Thereâs a band down the street playing salsa music, a few coins make it into their open cases as he passes on his way back to the bus stop thatâll take him back to the campus. If he had his way, heâd be right out there with them, making a quick buck and learning the fun side of what they do, but thatâs not what this is about. Not while heâs enrolled and class starts in twenty minutes, anyway.
Oh what a day, what a lovely day!

He whipped his head in Deanâs direction, and if there wasnât a blindfold in the way, heâd be glaring daggers at him. âYouâre joking.â He said. There was no way heâd be able to get out of this. It was too tight, he couldnât move his arms in any useful way. Sam shifted in frustration, annoyed at Dean for tricking him like this. âI didnât agree to this! Dean, get me out!â He demanded, hoping that his brother would be reasonable.
âGotta be able to handle impossible situtations, Sammy! People arenât gonna give ya slack to wiggle out of just because you bat your eyes at âem.â Survival, thatâs the name of the game here. Theyâve been playing since they were little, and with Dad gone Dean can at least pick up the slack here and there. In controlled amounts. 6. My muse is all tied up (how and why is up to the mun)
Sam sighed, squirming in the ropes and turning his head to track Deanâs footsteps around the bed. Why the blindfold was needed he had no clue. He couldnât do much more than shift. His brother was practically a pro. âDean are you almost done with this?â He asked, putting on the whiny younger brother voice. With another attempted movement of his leg, he realized that he would probably fall if he moved around too much. âI donât see why you need to practice. Donât you usually just kill monsters on sight?â He sighed, rolling his shoulders, the ropes holding his arms together were a bit tight.
âAinât just monsters we deal with, Sammy.â Dean answered distractedly, focused on his work. Itâs efficient, but there is certainly room for improvement and Dean? Heâs got to be good at it. And fast. Maybe next time heâd have his brother play the part of someone struggling--no oneâs really going to sit there and willingly be trussed up if theyâre conscious and sometimes he just doesnât feel like buffaloing someoneâs skull.Â
Now for part two. Samâs going to hate part two.
âGet yourself out of it.â

âI aim to misbehave.â
âWell⊠here I am.â
