RIP Alan Rickman
February 21 1946 - January 14 2016
And it’s a human need to be told stories. The more we’re governed by idiots and have no control over our destinies, the more we need to tell stories to each other about who we are, why we are, where we come from, and what might be possible.
Sherlock, listen to me.

I know we’re all having a good laugh about “I’m glad you liked my potato”, but as this is Sherlock’s Mind Palace, this isn’t “silly John you don’t know BSL”, this is Sherlock realizing that John doesn’t understand non verbal communication. John cannot read, literally, body language.
Sherlock can show John he loves him all he wants. John won’t get it until he says something about it.
AHHHHHHHHH
Probably why those dancing lessons didn’t turn out the way Sherlock had hoped.
