Ok just so we're clear, this has nothing to do with me disliking any of you, quitting homestuck, getting harassed, ect. The main reason i'm remaking is related to my uneasiness with the amount of followers i've gained, followed by a minor annoyance with the amount of homestuck related drama happening on my dash at the moment.

It's possible that i will refollow most of you even if you reblog a lot of homestuck after all this cools down, and there is even a slight chance i may return to this blog since i actually do like being able to talk with you guys. But right now, i just need a bit of time away from all this.

I just got back from my boyfriend’s house tonight so now I can finally post this online! It is one of his Christmas presents and now safely in his possession. It was my final school project but I didn’t want him to see it until he got it in person.

The project was to pick a quote (from a group of quotes given to us) and illustrate it combining two references that we shot ourselves. From the start I wanted to make it a gift for Jesse so that was my main goal for the piece, but luckily I was able to do that and meet the assignment guidelines. The quote I chose was “How did it get so late so soon?”. The reference I used was my zebu and goat skulls, zebu being my favorite animal and goats one of Jesse’s favorites.

Done in acrylic paint on 12x18 illustration board. I will post some close-ups tomorrow!
