This video is promoting the campaign of right wing candidate Neftali Bennet, and shows him standing on a hill in the Occupied West Bank, exclaiming the need for democracy as Israel is surrounded by radical Islamists. Promoting Israel's values of democracy and free speech, as Israel recently sent citizens to prison for what they posted on Facebook seems slightly contradictory.

This video features Benjamin Netanyahu alluding to the fact that ISIS will come to Jerusalem if voters choose a leftist candidate.

Countdown to Marathon: 52 days
Training is going reasonably well, I have been getting back into running every day, just really have to push out the longer runs. Did 8 km yesterday extremely slowly, going to do 10 kilometers today.
Also started thinking about race nutrition and realized how important it is, so trying to keep myself fulled with the right kind of food!
Goal for this weekend is to run 15 kilometers.

January 31st, 2015 - hiking in Ein Gedi, starting and ending at the Ein Gedi national park entrance. Made it to the very top in 3 1/2 hours. Hiking with Alistair Howarth.
Palestinians are unable to hike in this area because of the armistice agreement made in 1949, that cut off the national park and reclaimed the area as Israeli territory. A checkpoint a few hundred meters before the park prevents Palestinians from accessing their beautiful countryside and prevents opportunities for outdoor recreational activities.

I've been sick and my running partner just sprained his ankle - but the marathon is in 2 months, so it really is now or never.

What I am shocked by today.
1. Netanyahu went to a unity march against terrorism. (I'm assuming he realizes that he is also a terrorist, albeit legitimized by the United Nations)
2. Abu Mazen joined him at this unity march, alongside other leaders who fund the occupation that is oppressing his people.
3. Someone from FOX news legitimately thought that Birmingham wasn't open to non-Muslims. #FoxNewsFacts.
