as a glasseswearer I do always wonder how bad Grian's prescription is. like he's squinting at soccer but he also can see the ball enough to play without 'em so I guess they're less bad than my -6. oh fuck i should make this actually rpfy uhhhhh grian n gem trading glasses and giggling at each other in the way I always do with friends who need glasses

I wonder this all the time! My eyes aren't even that bad, I'm like -.75/-1 but I still struggle without my glasses. I could survive reasonably well without them but I'd be squinting at anything more than a few feet away.

I think both Grian and Gem probably have worse sight than me, though, judging by how close they had to get to each other during Blindfolded Bingo, lol.

Also, they have swapped glasses before! The last photo of the carousel on Gem's IG. It's a v cute picture and I wish there was a universe in which we'd get an updated version with Gem's currently glasses. But she looks v cute in G's round frames.

Sorry if this is annoying or you get this question a lot, but why do we call grigem Taylie?

No worries!! I wanted a ship name/tag that wouldn't show up in the main tag for my rpf stuff. I usually have my blog search turned off via visibility settings so none of my posts show up in the main tag anyway. But I thought it would be good to separate the rpf from the SMP "character" stuff as well, since I don't post a lot of the character stuff.

Taylie is a combo of Taylor and Charlie, their real names. I use a lot of CC's real names for my rpf tags — only the ones that are well known or easily googleable though.

#and honestly we didn't even know for a long time if Grian even went by Charlie or if he was just Charles #but his original company was called something like Charlie Ltd.#but that's neither here nor there #I just didn't want to call him Charles. It's so fuddy duddy. he deserves to be a mischievous Charlie.
