β’ Head turning as he rumbles in aggravation, heβs not sure why heβs even surprised at this point. βI thought I made myself clear that I donβt need or want you,β he growls and you just smile cheerfully up at him, face flushed. But then, youβve been running after him chirping βsirβ at him while heβd walked across the base trying to ignore you. Or wear you out. Plating lifting aggressively, he takes a thunderous step your way to try and spook you into running.
β’ Breathing raggedly as you stare up at him, you really hope heβs not about to grab you and put you on a rooftop again. This time you at least have your phone on you so you can call someone to come get you down instead of having to wait for someone to pass by so you can yell for help. βSir, I just want to take care of you,β you try, smiling nervously. And his frown deepens to make you wonder if he ever smiles. βIβd do a good job.β Had hoped youβd get an easy, cooperative assignment, but this guy wants nothing to do with you.
β’ Servos flexing, he tries to decide if youβre just dense or particularly stubborn as you keep smiling. Growling, he bends and you tense but donβt try to avoid him when he seizes you by the back of your baggy covering and picks you up. And you just dangle, unresisting. βSir? Please donβt leave me on a roof again,β you say, sounding almost forlorn as he growls and starts walking. Maybe he can give you away? Find anyone else for you to latch onto?
β’ Whereβs he taking you and should you be screaming? You should probably be screaming, you decide as you hang by the back of your coveralls. Youβre half scared heβll drop you if you struggle, though. Seeing a guard walking the other way, the guy frowns up at you and you awkwardly wave as Motormaster keeps rumbling and walks right past. Maybe heβs looking for somewhere private to hide your body? He definitely gives angry, murdery vibes. βShould I be screaming?β You ask, looking up at him.
β’ What is wrong with you? Clearing his vents, he spots several mechs lingering and talking. Striding that way, one turns and he canβt remember any of their names, but it really doesnβt matter. βHere. Have a human,β he says, thrusting you at the nearest one and theyβre fumbling to grab you in self defense. Turning and striding away, he hears your offended βsirβ and he smiles to himself. Doubts heβs going to get off that easily, though. Youβll be back. Youβre more tenacious than rust in a seam. Itβs almost endearing.

Bruticus
β¦ ββ Surprisingly, one of the more nonchalant combiners when not under direct threat. Bruticus is best when combined, as opposed to just the sum of his parts.
β¦ ββ The only thing he lacks is the gentle parts. The kindness and the steady movements having such a small partner demands. He makes up for it with his sheer desire to prove he can take care of you just as well as his lone components.
β¦ ββ Not knowing where you are is an easy fix. At least one of his components is an inovator, and now you've always got a bell tied to some part of you. If you try to take it off, it will end up permanently affixed to you.
β¦ ββ While he may be military smart, Bruticus isn't the brightest bulb. He gets confused easily when you talk to him about anything non-war-related. Cocks his head to the side and gives you that uncertain stare. It's the cutest he'll ever look.
β¦ ββ Brings you to fights just to put you somewhere safe so you can watch him beat the shit out of the enemies. You might even catch Brutocus glancing back at your spot to make sure you're still watching him.
Defensor
β¦ ββ The gentlest of all combiners without having to put too much work into it, Defensor is well aware of your fragility and aims to protect you in any way he can. Unfortunately, this means he is the least willing to handle you.
β¦ ββ Holding you during a fight is out of the question. It isn't so much him he is worried about. It's whatever might be done to him. But when times are calm, he'll grab a blanket and scoop you up with it. Something soft he doesn't have to worry about pinching too tight that holds you gently for him.
β¦ ββ Being around you is always a moment of self-discovery for the components, who are still getting to know one another. What Defensor does know is that he loves you, as confusing as the urges to both nuzzle his cheek against you or act nonchalant are.
β¦ ββ A bit embarrassed about his verbal tic, how he doesn't exactly speak to you how his components and others might. Likes when you talk to him, instead. He'll rumble and whirr in response to let you know he's listening.
β¦ ββ Reassure him, please. He acts all capable and confident, of course. But something in him melts when you urge him to speak, when you compliment his abilities, when you say you love *him* and not just his components.
Devastator
β¦ ββ Honestly so sweet. He may be destructive, but his components make things. They use their servos and are gentle when needed. So he must be able to as well, right?
β¦ ββ More hesitant to hold you. Would rather have you somewhere high up where he can sit near you and watch what you're doing. At most, he'll reach a digit out to poke you when you aren't paying enough attention to him.
β¦ ββ It's difficult to ignore him, though. He has what looks like a permanent pout on his face, and he'd look adorable if he weren't so dangerous. His engines also rumble real loud when he's near you. You're not sure he's noticed.
β¦ ββ Why are his servos shaking? You're imagining things, sweetspark. Ignore that it's literally jostling you. He isn't nervous about handling you the first time...the first few times...every time. Not at all.
β¦ ββ It's clear when the big guy has lost track of you because he will completely freeze up. Too scared if he moves a single joint, you might get crushed, or if he steps back, his pede will hit you. That's the only time you see him patient, waiting to hear from you so he knows it's okay to move.
Menasor
β¦ ββ Extremely intimidating without even trying, and it works to his advantage with you. You should be at least a bit scared of him, because that's how he knows you'll be careful around him.
β¦ ββ Not too scared, though. Enjoys startling you, seeing you jump when he slams a hand near you or growls a little too loudly. But he still desires your love as much as his components. Look at him, talk to him, trust him. He will fight for you.
β¦ ββ Struggles with words, a lot. He'd be embarrassed if he cared, but it never occurred to him until his components fell for you that he might want to use words. To talk, rather than lash out. Now he hates it.
β¦ ββ The most rough out of any combiner when handling you, but to Menasor, he's treating you like the most fragile thing in the entire universe. He's running out of patience, but he won't let himself snap when it comes to you. You'll get some bruises, but nothing more.
β¦ ββ Prefers your company directly as opposed to just with his components, which is why he hates that he mostly comes out for battles. He can't hold you while he's fighting. At least the anger from missing you and his desire to get things over with propel him towards victory.
Superion
β¦ ββ Total show-off. So many components in him are vying for your attention, and so long as you're looking at him, they've all got it. A lot more humble with his smack talk when you're around, because why talk when he can show?
β¦ ββ Not as worried as a group of bots should be about hurting you. That's mostly because Superion plans for things. He knows he won't hurt you because he is fully capable of being careful. You are capable, too. You'll let him know if he needs to be gentler.
β¦ ββ But...perhaps...not that he would ever ADMIT IT. He is terrified of getting lost in his own ego and hurting you because of it. There is always some level of caution behind what he does, evident in how he hesitates before moving when you're with him.
β¦ ββ He isn't sure why you seem so amused when he talks, but you seem to find his wording funny, and that's good enough for me. Something about dry humour, though you're not sure if it's intentional or not.
β¦ ββ Superion enjoys spending time with you and will display his displeasure when he doesn't see you for long periods of time. It doesn't seem like being around his components counts. HE wants to talk to you.

Y'know what I find amusing. You and I both like some the most horrible mechs possible. Megatron and Motormaster treat everyone like they are below them. (Which some cases, definitely are.) Yet, here we are being like "I want that." You love Megatron, and I love Motormaster. Will we ever be free from them?
Anyways, hope you're doing good. Being sick is not fun, and at least you're doing much better now! May Megatron fanfiction heal you faster!

scenario: he likes you and can't communicate it right for the life of him
warnings: decepticons being decepticons. he is kinda toxic(?)
note: decepticon reader. and yes every single megsy fanfiction posted gives me extra HP
β He's awfully silent around you when he realizes he's into you, there's an occasional grunts of acknowledgement that you're standing there. But he often doesn't converse with you.
β Motormaster is a mech who knows what he wants, so he understands his feelings quickly. But his ego might hold him back from truly confessing. You should be the one to confess to the King of the Road. Not the other way around. This will depend heavily on your rank within the Decepticons though.
β If you are a higher ranking Decepticons, he'll take your praise to spark, not just for his ego. And maybe even think of you as an equal if his ego would allow him to. But you're out of luck if you're a rank lower than him. And in an even worse predicament if you're a fellow Stunticon.
β If you're in a lower rank than him, he's almost disgusted that he likes you. You're far from even being his equal, you're weak. Pathetic even. But Motormaster cannot help himself at all. You're slowly consuming his mind and everytime you fawn over his strength feels like a song that tugs right on his spark.
β And if you are a fellow Stunticon, you're always stationed around him. Every mission involves you standing right by him, where you should be according to him at least. He wants to dependant on him, he hates it when you lash out at him and he'll even go as far as use your insecurities against you even if he is infatuated with you. Motormaster wants you in the palm of his servos.
β Hell, he will even bully you if you're a stunticon. Its ruthless. But at least rest of the team is saved cause you're the one that seems to have his attention the most.
β He even gets aggressive when his fellow stunticons are hogging up all your attention. Forcibly throwing them aside and it leaves you very concerned and confused cause WHY did he just do that???
β But when its not one of the members of his team, he just stands there. Patiently waiting for you to get done with whatever you have to say. Its kind of creepy cause he's just standing there.
β Motormaster hates saying this but he gets jealous. Incredibly so. Which is why when he sees you fawn over someone else and praise them, he gets his fuse shorted and is in a bad mood the whole day. None of the Stunticons know why.
β He will also feel a particular type of envy if you're specifically in another combiner team cause there's mechs other than him who know you inside-out. The way your mind works and everything, your frame literally transforms to become one with a bunch of mechs that aren't him and it irks him badly.
β He realizes he will have to make a move if he wants you and Motormaster really, really doesn't want to be the one to make that move. Again, his ego. But seeing you flirt with someone else or if he gets too jealous then he will snap. Motormaster will fix his approach. He's a bit possessive over you even if its just a crush, even if he knows that he shouldn't feel that way... yet. It'll get a lot worse if you two are finally together. Ultimately, he doesn't care as long as you're his.
β He tries to impress you a bit, maybe in the training rooms where you're trying to improve your aim, he might just so happen to be there, practicing with his sword. Something that confuses the other Stunticons cause they haven't seen the guy practice like that. Motormaster wants your optics on him, you don't really have to say anything but just knowing that your undivided attention is on him makes him feel a certain type of way.
β If you're of a lower rank or a fellow stunticon, he's ridiculously direct about wanting you when he finally confesses. And its not in a nice way either. You're pinned to a wall with your optics directed forcefully to look into his with the way his servo on your face makes sure you can't look away. He's even leaning into you, his EM field enveloping yours and the heat blowing out of his vents hitting the metal of your frame. Its the closest he's ever been to you and it takes everything he has not to ravage you on the spot.
β But if you're a higher rank, a bot he considers an equal and can fight him off, he's forced to adopt a more formal approach. Motormaster actually has to put in a lot more effort. He has to appear... charming if he wants a chance at courting you. Motormaster is forced to be friendly. The mech is trying to smile and look amiable but one look and Breakdown nearly ran away thinking he messed up or something. Motormaster was confused.
β Though, he doesn't worry about competition in either scenario because he can easily take care of them... well, in most cases.
ohhhhhhhhhh megatron has me WHIPPED. its genuinely concerning but for some reason, i've always like egotistical/hot-headed characters? like idk but testing their patience or bringing their egos down is always fun to me! maybe its my lack of self preservation. i like the arrogance and dumbassry. even in anime characters, i liked Kars and specifically true form Sukuna a LOT. they were so hot to me... i think i have a thing for really tall, buff, prideful guys idk.
and i dont think we will ever be free from them-
but ill be so serious, you must be struggling worse than me cause theres barely ANY motormaster fics so i thought i'd make on for u moot. thanks for checking up on me :P
