Hello! I'm Tri, a 27 year old scientist by day and attempted writer by night! I consume a ton of fantasy and romance books, and follow random games here and there (namely genshin).

I suppose now that I'm actually posting quite a bit on tumblr, I should have a place to put all of that writing lol. I am cross-posting everything onto AO3 as well. I also have an account on AFF.

no clue who's gonna see this (if anyone) but here's a lil snippet of chp 14 of miracle's happen (xaden's pov)

Xaden had seen her determination despite her setbacks, and he knew he wanted to help her succeed. He liked spending time with her because she took his teasing as well as she dealt it, and he was used to people who would agree with him all the time because of his position. He didn’t have many people that were simply his friend in Tyrrendor; nearly everyone in his life that he considered a friend was also a coworker in some fashion, and he desperately wanted to call Violet his friend.

Violet, to her credit, didn’t seem startled to see him as she turned around to ask him, “Are you stalking me?” “Me? Stalk you?” “I mean this is the third time you've run into me.” She opened her mouth as if to add something else before pausing, and Xaden could almost see her waging the mental battle. He watched as she looked him up and down before her eyes kept getting caught on his face.

“Can I tell you something?” Garrick whispered into the space between him and Imogen. He pushed a strand of hair away from her face.

She hummed in response, but her breath caught in her throat before it gave way to a slight wheeze. Garrick’s heart squeezed in his chest, and he swallowed down the urge to rage against the world that was stealing her away from him. Imogen’s eyes fluttered, and he leaned down to kiss her forehead, closing his eyes as a fresh wave of grief tore through him.

Glane let out a moan nearby, and Garrick tore his eyes from Imogen to look at her dragon, lying simply feet away. Garrick shifted the two of them so Imogen was lying on Glade’s leg. They would not be in this world for long.

“What did you want to tell me?”

He smiled down at his best friend, even as he felt the tears begin. “You made me believe in soulmates. You are my soulmate, Im. Forever
