I'm into foraging, especially mushroom hunting. But I am SO BAD at it you guys. Like, I do my due diligence in terms of research and safety, but I'm bad at actually finding the things and also bad at remembering things I need to know to identify plants/fungi confidently. I haven't actually harvested a mushroom in over 2 years now.
HOWEVER. A failed mushroom hunt is still a nice walk in the woods. I don't need to be good at it to have a good time. And while I hope I get better at it, I don't feel pressured or rushed to do so. It's just nice.

The war came and destroyed all our lives, we were displaced from our home and went to areas we never imagined we would reach and lived in tents winter and summer and carried hundreds of liters of water, whether salty or for drinking and we heard sounds that no human had ever heard before and in the absence of gas fire became our only way to cook if we had something to cook and everything in our lives became lines whether eating, drinking, moving, shaving everything that comes to your mind became suffering and extreme difficulty nothing comes easily
