Though I had decided to write back to Takeru-senpai, I had so many things to tell you that I kept thinking how to start my letter for three days. Since Takeru-senpai is a straightforward person, you don’t want such words as are chosen especially for a situation like this, I thought. So I’d like to describe my thoughts straightforward as they are.
It was eight years ago that I was able to encounter Takeru-senpai. Therefore, in a sense, I really played your wife after eight years. Personally, one sentence Takeru-senpai said has stuck in my heart. It’s Takeru-senpai’s words in a documentary program broadcast in 2012.
At that time, Takeru-senpai was as old as I am now and said, ‘There’s no such thing as abiding love’. When I heard that, somehow, I strongly felt like telling this person that abiding love definitely exists, and talked to the TV screen, ‘That’s not true!’ My family were watching TV with me, laughing, but I was really serious without any reason. But at that time, Takeru-senpai was already such a star that a TV documentary gave a total coverage of you. Although I wanted to tell you my thoughts, I myself wondered when I should do so. Maybe the future when I co-star with you in this film had been decided since then, I think.
Abiding love exists. And that, it exists in your heart. At any time, you face with your fans and thank them, you treat extras with respect as your company at the shooting site, you praise the staff with enthusiasm, warmth, tenderness, and kindness. You hold really rich and abiding love. And your attitude and your words, your happy back heading vigorously for the stage greetings, and your eyes looking at the audience pleasurably have taught me a lot of important things as an actor. Thank you from my heart.
One more thing! Takeru-senpai’s smile is by far the most wonderful!
Takeru-senpai can do anything, know everything, and understand anything, but somehow, you understand yourself just apart from your work, I think. So I’d like to tell you at full power as the one who has been working with you as a naughty girl to a wife.

Probably you may not like your own smiling face, and I understand you because I don’t like my own smiling face, either. But Takeru-senpai’s smiles make a lot of people happy. I hope that some day Takeru-senpai’s smiles will warm yoirself. I will keep telling you that Takeru-senpai’s smile is nice until then!
When you gave me a birthday present and I said, ‘I will use this until I become a grandma!’, you said, ‘You won’t keep using the same thing until you become a grandma!’ But Tsuchiya Tao will use it! And I’ll remain Takeru-senpai’s granddaughter until I become a grandma. So I will never write ‘Thank you for everything till now’! We live in the world where communication gets difficult just because we differ in sex, but please keep supporting me as one of your juniors in the same line of business and give me your grandpa’s abiding love to me in the future. I will follow you to catch up with your back with my full effort.
