My dear twin sister...

A smartphone? [her brows furrows as she looks at the device in her hands] How magnificent. What does it do? Is it like a Sensor? [she looks up as she hands the device back to Hana, smiling faintly] The city may not be as… progressive as from where you have all come from in the future, but I am certain your children will find that there are plenty of things to do here.

Well, you can call people with it, take pictures...take notes and a lot more. It would take days trying to explain everything. Daniel had spent about two weeks trying to explain all the technology to me back when I first got to the future. [takes it back from her sister and turns it off, putting it back in her pocket] Hopefully, they will....

No, no. You have Mama’s skills. [she smiles] Remember when we were little and she taught us how to paint? Your work always came out beautifully, while mine looked like someone just splattered paint all over the canvas. [she chuckles] I suppose that was exactly what I was doing. Oh well I cannot wait to meet them. And how wonderful! I have missed you so much, Hana, and I cannot put into words how happy I am that we will get to have dinner together once again. Oh, I’m certain no one will mind if he does. The dining hall will surely be filled with children, and you must know how.. lively it can get with all of them around. [she smiles]

Well, Papa loved you. You were so enthusiastic about Shadowhunter training and I, on the other hand, not so much. I missed you too, Helena. I suppose so, but I think both Zach and Helena...they'll think that this century is weird. They were already complaining about the fact that their...umm... smartphones were out of battery and didn't have anything to do. Smartphones are a really small, portable phone capable of a lot of things. Like this here.. [takes her white iPhone 5 out and turns it on, glancing at the battery percentage which is at 50 percent. She hands it to Helena]

You are happy then? [she smiles] I am glad. All I have ever wanted was for you to be happy, and although I wish you could stay here, I could never ask you to leave your life in the 21st century. Oh, yes, your daughter has spoken to me about it. You have always been the artistic one between the two of us. [she chuckles softly] Zach is your son, correct? Oh, I look forward to meeting him. I’m sure my children will be excited to meet their cousins. Perhaps they will all meet during dinner. You will be staying here for dinner, correct?

It is, isn’t it? I think it was fate. Oh, yes, they would love to see you again. That was fifteen years ago, wasn’t it? How quickly time has passed. [she smiles] Yes, Elodie and Anna are very lovely. Genevieve and Will adore them, and so do Jean-Pierre and I.

Yes, yes I am. [she nods with a smile] I suppose I was the artistic one. I'm sure it was just from the fact that I didn't like Shadowhunter training as much you did and rather preferred to spent my time at home with mother and that was probably when I developed this artistic talent of mine. [she nods again] Zach is our son, yes. Of course, we'll stay for dinner. There aren't many other places we could go to. I suppose they will; they'll find it weird at first but should get along well. Though...Zach...he might cause some trouble.

Hmm, maybe it was and yes it was fifteen years ago... I still remember everything so clearly as if it was yesterday... I can't wait to meet them; they sound lovely.

It is so good to see you after all these years. How is the 21st century, Hana? Is Daniel treating you well? Oh, I’ve met your daughter and she is just lovely. She looks so much like you. [she smiles] The poor girl was confused, though, so I take it you did not tell her about.. all of this?

I’ve been very well, thank you. Jean-Pierre is, too. Though he has been fairly occupied with work, and it wasn’t until recently that he was able to take a break. Which is why we are all here, for a small vacation. Gen and Will are both well. They’re quite grown up now. Genevieve is turning into a beautiful lady, and is such a great and dedicated Shadowhunter. Will is quite the handsome young man himself, and is very skilled and equally dedicated, but he is still a boy and a very enthusiastic one at that; always making jokes and such. They’re around here somewhere, and I am certain they would like to say hello to their aunt. Oh, and Jean-Pierre and I welcomed two new additions to our family a little over five years ago. [she chuckles happily] We have twin daughters. Little Elodie and little Anna.

It's so good to see you too. The 21st century's great; I was confused with everything at first but it didn't take long to get used to them. Daniel's treating me very well, actually. [she smiles] He's an architect; he owns an architectural firm and I don't know if Helena told you, but I design dresses and Daniel got me a boutique a few years back. Does she? She has his eyes though. Yes, she told me about meeting you... and we had to explain everything to her and Zach.

It's such a rare coincidence that the time travelling portal appeared right at the time when you were visiting London. I should see them before I leave again. It's been so long.. The last I saw Gen, she was a young girl and Will was just a baby... Oh, you did? That's good to hear. I'm sure they're just as lovely as Gen was.
