“ okay, if you could tell me five things that are cool about birds, then i might reconsider my stance on them. ” hana said, giving the other a chance to change her mind, however it was more of a challenge. “ a bird SHIT on me once, y’know. so i don’t think it was that one seagull. i’m convinced that birds and i aren’t meant to enjoy each other. i’ve also been chased by geese. so they hurt me first, i’m just getting revenge. ”
«WHY DO you hate them?» iseul asked absentmindedly and turned to face the other female, mild interest on her face.
“ we could start out with the fact that most of them are dumb. and have you SEEN some of their faces? like what the hell. an ostrich looks like someone hit it on the top of the head with a damn PAN. and they’re always pecking at you. i only really like flamingos and sometimes parrots. but that’s it. oh and PENGUINS too! but that’s bias due to club penguin. ”
‘ can’t you just get ANOTHER chicken leg ? ’ taesung’s voice suddenly cut through the air as soon as the other was finished speaking; and though a bit of confusion laced his tone, his expression remained completely bored. ‘ you should RKO the seagull, though. i’d pay to see that. ’
“ i already left the place and they gave me some pieces of chicken for free. it wouldn’t be the same. ” letting her smile falter, she huffed in annoyance. “ i would RKO the seagull but it’s GONE now. it took my damn chicken and left. which doesn’t even make sense. ”
“ i’m not saying i don’t believe you, but are you really trying to tell me that a seagull, aka a type of bird, took a chicken leg from you, which is also another type of bird? it’s just NOT realistic. why would a seagull steal your chicken leg? does it even eat meat? but hey, that was entertaining to hear, nonetheless. ”
“ holy shit... you make a really good point. except for the fact that seagulls are actually dumb. i mean, listen you could not believe it but it happened. i have proof. if you look in my stomach, there’s no chicken leg in it. i mean i don’t know what a seagulls diet is, but i know that crows eat birds... so it’s not all that unrealistic. and i’m a primary source, i assure you that i am not lying. ”
sunny, being the insomniac that he was, lied awake in his bed while staring at the ceiling and taking a long drag from his joint. he counted the glow in the dark stars that were on the ceiling put on by the previous apartment owner even though he already counted them a bunch of times. the high university student smacked his lips when he realized his cotton mouth needed something to drink. reluctantly, sunny got up from bed and made his way through the fridge, making as little noise as possible so he wouldn’t wake his roommate. the fridge light made him squint and as soon as he was about to reach for a pbr, the sudden knock and yell of his name made sunny yelp and shut the door in defense for whatever was going to attack him. or not. when sunny calmed himself, he checked the clock on the wall of the kitchen and saw that was 3 am. “who the fuck–?” sunny trailed off as he carefully made his way to the door and looked through the peep hole. his quick beating heart calmed down when he saw that it was just hana out the door. before she could knock again or yell loud enough to wake the whole apartment, sunny opened the door and said, “you better have a really good explanation to why you’re here at the middle of the fucking night…”
Once the door opened, the smell of marijuana hit hana like a ton of bricks. letting her jaw drop at his tone, she shook her head. “ i had a feeling that you were smoking without me. and look at that i was right. and not only that, but now you’re scolding me? i feel so wronged. ” giving sunny a disappointed look on her face, she then offered him an innocent smile. “ i’ll forgive you if you let me in. i couldn’t sleep and i snuck out and here i am. don’t act like you don’t adore my company. ” she said with a devious grin spreading on her features. she hoped that he wouldn’t shut her out, since it wouldn’t be weird for him to. however in the same manner, sunny should know that if he did try to deny her company she would most likely just get loud and cause an even bigger disturbance and the worst part about hana’s behavior is how oblivious she was to it. she had a tendency to forget just how loud her voice could really get.
It was 3AM and it was impossible to sleep. tossing and turning in her bed, hana came to a realization that sleeping was not an option for her tonight. sitting up in bed, she let out a frustrated huff before looking around. well it was certainly boring in her dorm room. making a quick call, hana got out of bed ten minutes after and slipped on some sneakers before leaving the premises. being careful as she did so, she quietly made her way to the exit of the building then made her way to the gate of the campus. making sure she wasn’t seen by the guards, she waited until she saw a car pull up with a pizza delivery sign on it. waiting until the guards were distracted, she made her way past the gates hearing the confusion coming from both the working men and the delivery man. hana just walked the dark empty streets, unsure of where she was going, but soon enough realize she was nearby somewhere she loved to visit. a small smirk appeared on her features before she made her way to her destination. upon entering the apartment building, hana completely forgot what time it was. making her way to one of the doors in the hallway, she began knocking on it ― rather loudly. “ sunny !! ” she called, not minding the fact that there were multiple apartments around her.
“ Can you fucking believe a seagull actually stole a chicken leg from me? yeah me neither. i mean i already HATE birds, but w o w do i just wanna rko that seagull right now. ”
❝ SHE SLUMPED ON THE SEAT – knees bruised, hands scrapped, cheeks read due the exercise; a not so pretty sight. the tigress captain made all of the girls wearing an uniform out there in the field pay for something that was bothering her, and evie have never wished to had skipped practice that day more than she was in that moment. “ please, ” she sighed. “ tell me you have alcohol in you bag, and that you’re willing to give me some. ”
Raising her brow at the sight of the person before her. clearly she wasn’t having a good day, and hana was kind of curious as to how she got the bruises on her knees. “ sorry to disappoint, but i do not have alcohol in my bag. but we could go on a mission to find some alcohol. that seems like fun. ”
❝ NIGHT WAS settling in and nate wasn’t half worried about it. he made his way out of the dorms, hands stuffed deep into his pockets, head ducked down – he didn’t mind being recognized, but he didn’t particularly was looking for it that night; and as he turned the corner, he feigned complete disinterest in not being the only person trying to sneak out sutton. he smiled softly, raising eyebrows “ you better not rat, because no one will believe you. ”
The fact of the matter was the hana was hungry and she didn’t really like want the food that they offered on campus either. she was craving something specific, and that specific thing was chicken wings. making her way toward the gate, she caught sight of a figure going in the same direction she was. stopping in her tracks, the other spoke before she could. “ i wasn’t going to snitch, but i’m kind of tempted to now since i wonder if they would believe me or not. ”

alrighty so a lil short description about hana:
go hana was born into a middle class family where she had a mother and a father
when hana was six her mother left her and her father and hana never knew why but the real reason was that when hana’s mother was younger, she gave birth when she was sixteen and gave up the child for adoption, but eventually the babby daddy came back and he was the one who adopted the child and hana’s mother left to live with her first child and her old lover which is like super shitty
so hana doesn’t really know why she left, she just thinks she left for no reason
when hana was 16, her father was diagnosed with brain cancer and hana had to work two jobs while having to take care of her ill father.
her father was always supportive of her and her passion for lacrosse but when he got ill she had to quit her high school team so that she could work her jobs
when she reached the age of 17, her father died and hana went to live with her single aunt who is a doctor. she only really cried at the funeral and after that she made a really hard effort for things to go back to the way they were
she started playing lacrosse again and got a scholarship to sutton uni and she felt like it was a new start for her. now shes focused on lacrosse and feels like she could be her old self again
