Tubatu's songs are kind of funny sometimes because at a glance you'll be like 'oh this song's a love/romance breakup song of course as expected from a popular artist' but then when you put it side by side with the MVs you realise that no. They're mostly friendship breakup/yearning songs.
One might think Setsuna Hanabi is about a fleeting summer love with the way that's mentioned and the "you and I" "the two of us" but then the MV focuses a lot on the 5 boys and their friendship and the loss and regret when one of them fuckin dies

A Very Much Not Definitive "Guide" to Installing Arknights PC on Linux, Because Why Not
Do you use Linux and want to play AK on your puter now that the PC client is real? No? Too bad! Because I will yap about it Anyway. Here I will tell you how to install the damned tower defence game on Steam and Lutris
Obligatory disclaimer things may or may not be different depending on your distro. I use Linux Mint but the general gist should hopefully be the same. And also that I am not an expert, I'm just forced to troubleshoot a lot due to the nature of my setup, habit, and preferences
Step 1: Download the installer from the website
Step 2: Prepare a spot where your game files will live
If you don't already and prefer the game files to live outside the prefix, make a folder somewhere for it. If you're using Lutris, be sure to also make a folder for the prefix
Step 3: Adding the installer to Steam or Lutris
Steam: Open Steam, and click "Add a game" -> "Add a non-Steam game" on the bottom left of your screen. Browse to where you put your installer. After that, right click on the game and go to "Properties" -> "Compatibility". More on this in a bit
Lutris: (Note: I am using the system package version, your Lutris may be different) Add a game and pick "Add a locally installed game". On the game info tab, fill out the name and select Wine from the runners drop down
On the game options tab, browse to the installer for the executable (I recommend moving the installer to the folder you prepared for convenience), and pick the prefix folder you prepared beforehand for the Wine prefix, or it won't run. Leaving the prefix folder blank is okay as Lutris will fill it out with the necessary files
Now. About the compatibility thing on Steam and Wine version on Lutris. If you tried to launch the thing right away through Steam it ain't gonna launch, you need to check "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool" from the compatibility section and select Proton Experimental from the list. For Lutris, where we last left off on runner options, you can also pick Proton Experimental or GE Proton (the default one Lutris picked won't work.)
Other Proton forks may work, but besides those two I have only tested dwproton, which is a notable mention since most of the fixes they apply are for... you know. Live service anime games. Which Arknights fanbase mostly plays. So I gotta mention it
Dwproton can't be added to Lutris for reasons but that's a rabbithole for Another Day
Back on track, and don't forget to save all that because now we're--
Step 4: Running the damn installer
Run the installer, and select where the launcher will live. By default it will pick your "C:" drive, which lives in your prefix folder. As mentioned on step 2, if you prefer the game files to live outside your prefix, browse to your containment zone and select it
Don't just place it on Z: that's your root. Don't just rawdog it on $HOME there are many important files living there. Depending on how a game installer does it it'll cause a kernel panic. Don't ask me how I know. Be prudent and make containement zones for your games
Step 5: Download the rest of the game files
Following the installer, you should now be on the launcher and then in-game downloading the game files, hooray!
Step 6: Point Steam or Lutris to the Actual Thing
Don't forget that Steam and Lutris is still being pointed to the installer, not launcher or the game exe. Go to the properties tab (Steam)/right click -> configure (Lutris) and point it to "/insert path to game files/YostarGames/Arknights_EN_Gamelauncher/Arknights_EN_Gamelauncher.exe/" OR "/YostarGames/Arknights_EN/Arknights.exe/"
Step 7: ???
Step 8: PROFIT

Wine and Proton in general
There are several Proton version installers out there. Personally I use ProtonPlus, I've also heard of ProtonUp-Qt but I haven't tried it
There are other game launchers out there, Heroic, Bottles, and maybe others but I can't be bothered
Proton and Wine prefix. God I've been having a headache about it. If you've gamed on Linux with Steam for a while, consider checking out your Steam folder and go to "/steamapps/compatdata/" :) And also have fun looking up ways to condense said prefixes without making all your games yell for the sake of storage space :)) Add on using not just Steam but other launchers :)))
ProtonDB is pretty useful for checking if a game runs on Linux. Neat stuff
Anyways if any of you have more stuff to add, do so. Okay bye I need to farm on GW2
It always baffles me when people say xyz place is monoculture or god forbid ethnically homogenous. My liege, what place is Even monoculture, the human experience is so vast it is simply impossible. Especially a nation, which what prompted this post to begin with
very confusing how everyone is reacting so enthusiastically to PC Arknights giving you the Priestess hand as a cursor. Am I the only insane person who had already long since customized my cursor so I could see the scary PRTS skeleton hand on PC all the time
I'm currently doing a nightmare mage solo run on Dragon Age Inquisition (modded to alleviate grind with constraints on my part, think of it as vanilla+) and it's kind of funny seeing the game be strained to its limits to accommodate my cheese and speedrun. One particular cheese I like is attacking enemies with Energy Barrage + final staff normal attack out of their range and sight, leaving enemies to stand there like a fool just taking my hits in — which I'm thankful for since my guy is made of wet tissue paper (for now.)
A random mage brat guy steps out of a the big main Rift with magic hand, DAI tutorial sequence happens, gets lauded as Herald of Andraste, joins the Inquisition, and you may expect him to do normal mage stuff during combat but for some indecipherable reason he rejects any and all party offers and starts helping and fighting in the Hinterlands alone. And not to mention he's somehow a psychic and can tell where enemies are at all times, complete with terrifying foresight knowledge. I'd be terrified too
