that cry of anguish as rocky hit the floor.  it absolutely crushed the turbo green.  he had to swallow back tears.  rocky.  rocky was hurt.  and there was literally nothing he could do about it.  tommy's ramblings were diffused in his ear.  all he wanted to do was take the pain away.  as tommy assured them both he'd be okay.  but that was tommy for you.  always bringing hope.  adam had tried.  tried so hard to talk rocky into taking it easy.  not pushing himself.  he was so worried.  but the frog always had been.  

his ape was strong.  stubborn.  a fighter.  it was the inner mantra he was telling himself on the ride to the hospital.  he breaks into tears as they settle into the hospital room.  after hours in the emergency room.  it had been without question that adam be the one to follow him to the hospital.  tommy quietly bringing him his turbo morpher at one point.  rocky's father had made an apperance at one lone interval and that had been stiff and uncomfortable.  though it passed without a hitch.

he buries his face into the bed.  pushing his temple against one of rocky's arms.  he knows what the doctors have been whispering.  overhearing them.  especially when they were speaking to rocky's dad and adam had the urge to have the man tossed out because he knows how he can really be when all alone.  there's a soft whine.  he wants his ape back.  he doesn't want to lose him.  he's so scared.  a husky, broken whisper reaches rocky's ears though he's not sure the other will hear it.

        Life has never been easy for the Power Rangers. Twenty years worth of strong, brave people giving their all to keep the world safe. When the outbreak hits no one knows what to do.

        Tommy Oliver ——— One of the Original Rangers, veteran to the cause; proposes to bring back the powers of all the past Ranger Teams. Over the years he’s grown more familiar with the Morphing Grid and his idea works. To a point.

        Their Morphers work, they have their powers back. But the teams that have lay dormant longer than a century — Anything before the Dino Thunder Rangers, their power has been laying dormant for so long it’s unstable and dangerous. (Save for The Time Force Rangers as their power was formulated in 3000).

        With only half the teams able to safely morph ——— Can they survive the Apocalypse without relying easily on their powers?

        Can they adapt to this new harsh world that challenges their morals? And what of the survivors? How will they take to the faces of the once famous Rangers being known — Some even possibly dead and gone, perhaps even not-so-gone?

Adam is at the Pier, leaning against a railing somewhere on the water and just watching the water and the boats go by.  It’s a beautiful sight; and despite his being hungry and there’s that seafood place not too far off that everyone was at the night of the fireworks that thanked them for saving Angel Grove from Ivan Ooze – he can’t tear himself away.
