2015 WSL World Tour

#12 | Bede Durbidge

Oh boy, Bede had quite the year, but sadly he ended it in the worst possible situation. An injury during his round 3 Billabong Pipe Masters heat against teammate Keanu Asing has put him in a wheelchair. We don’t know yet if he’s going to compete at Snapper, the first event of 2016, but fingers are crossed that he will make it at 100%.

Bede made 2 finals in 2015, one in Brazil and the other in France. He also had a few throwaway results back home in Australia, at Bells and Margaret River, but other than that, he did extremely well and almost cracked the Top 10 again. Wishing him a quick recovery and I can’t wait to see him back in the water!
