Prompt
"They're back again. They're coming after you!"
...
So, because I'm indecisive af, here are some ideas:
a) A's (possibly dead, to add some spice) sibling has been chasing them to kill them.
b) A's been travelling through many dimensions, running away from B (who could be an evil force). They finally feel like they've outrun them and started settling into some semblance of a normal life, but obviously that's not possible anymore.
c) A has been cursed with immortality and, just like in b), they've been running from B for literal ages. Maybe A is an essential piece of the puzzle for B to [destroy/ conquer the world, or whatever other plot reason you might come up with].
Don't forget to add a healthy dose of trauma, PTSD, and longing for a life where they're not being chased.
Have fun!
