Excuse me, are you…, aurora? lol
Florida is the home of hurricanes. And this time, Milton was going to hit Florida. It was not even two weeks after Helene, another powerful hurricane came and made me and my friends evacuating to another state.
According to the weather forecast, Milton’s landfall will be happening tonight. Though Tallahassee will not get impacted, the day here felt gloomy. From sunrise to dusk, the dark clouds clung to the sky, holding back the rain, as if Milton's presence was already casting a shadow over us.
As my class was called off, I rushed out of the doctoral lab, heading to the Tradition Garage, when I saw a beautiful ray of light stretching across the sky. "Are you, the aurora?"
This year, the natural disasters and also wonder have come back-to-back, from tornadoes to hurricanes, from tropical to geomagnetic storms. A few days ago, I saw people on X brimming with awe, sharing their joyful moments seeing the northern lights—Aurora Borealis—in northern states like Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin. “Could it be?” I thought auroras were only Alaska’s blessing”. But, no!
Apparently, (thanks to--mashaAllah) powerful magnetic storms could also happen and bring colorful lights to the southern areas, even adorning the sky of Alabama and Florida!
Tonight, October 10, they say the aurora will be at its peak. I hope for other obvious rays of light, to come down and paint the earth with its bright and beautiful colors, once and many more times again.
On the way back from Glenwood Springs to Denver, the nature waved bye for us and showed its best form. The combination of the white snow at the top of the mountains, the golden sunrise, the remaining greens of the forests radiated the magnificent glow that amazed every eye. I was amazed, and thankful. Alhamdulillah.

Every big thing happens for big reasons. It seems unreal, but it’s real. I will not be sad and disappointed, as to accept what has been written is an achievement. In my letter to you I said “I believe this is great news for me” and I always do believe in it. This is not an ending, not. I have learned so much and could not be more thankful to have you around me all this time. Thank you very much. So many wonderful things and miracles will come to me and you, inshaAllah (if God wills). Our destiny will cross again and let us meet and do wonders.

Dear my sweetest friend, my beautiful sister. Congratulations for passing your dissertation. After all the hardwork. Thank you for showing me that: “after all patience, beautiful things await.” I’m beyond proud!

Inspired by an app.
A breathtaking view. The moment I saw this fall for the first time, my heart suddenly beat faster. In the middle of the summer, I was frozen for minutes. Without I could handle, my tears suddenly fell. I was completely in awe. It was too magical, too pretty, too perfect. All elements were there, even the rainbow came to perfect the already-magical creation. Truly. I couldn’t be more grateful for knowing you. You are precious.
For more beautiful journeys to come. Not chasing the lists being checked, but to adore the beauty of everything under the skies, to be more thankful, to be fully aware of the greatness of the Greatest, to have a deeper connection with the Creator, the Almighty.
For more beautiful journeys to come.
Im greeting to more joys, productive days, and blessings. Alhamdulillah for all great things that will come this September ✨ Stay positive. Keep away negative thoughts. Do good sincerely. Always cheerful. Love and be loved. Be empowered. الحمدلله
Whatever is meant for you will come to you. Allah knows what’s the best for you and when it’s the best for you to have it. Always believe in Allah, including trusting in Allah’s timing. His timing is the best timing. Remember the sixth pillar of faith: believe in qadhaa and qadr. What’s yours will eventually find you.
Sometimes the journey you have to pass is hard, tough, tiring. Many times you feel so weak, and hopeless. But don’t, never lose hope! Allah is always there with you. “Verily, with hardship come eases” (Quran, 94:5). May Allah pour you with strengths, eases to endure all the trials in life. May Allah replace all your patience, tears, and sincerity with a plethora of blessings and an endless happiness beyond your imagination. Do not sigh, always be thankful.
Beliefs beget values. Values beget morals. Morals beget attitudes. In front of this small mosque, they display some values that a moslem should have.
What are your values? Have you acted according to your values? Can others feel the presence of your values?
