@The homecoming dance
“Hi Hann. You know, I’m here alone… at least I have someone to talk to now…” that was the least of her problems. But since she hasn’t seen Katherine lately maybe everything would be ok. “Are you here alone?”
Hanna moved her view across the busy room. "I guess I am! But well, you're here, with me, so... I'm not THAT alone, am I?" she asked Mona, locking her own aquamarine eyes over her face, with a cocky smile.

Mona walked into the school wearing a fluffy black dress. She didn’t have a date, so she just waited for Emma, but since she didn’t seem to appear, Mona went to the room where the dance was happening. Everyone seemed to be having so much fun. Something in Mona’s head was wrong, she always had that feeling that Katherine would appear and just do something wild. Suddenly, Mona felt a hand on her shoulder…
Hanna placed her chin over Mona's shoulder, slowly turning her face to her. "Hello, Mona! How's it going? Enjoying it?" Hanna asked enthusiastically, running her fingers through her friend's hair. Mona seemed upset about something again, so, probably, Hanna's false stupidity would cheer her up.

The blonde tucked her iPod into her pocket as Hanna spoke. Quinn gave the girl a friendly smile before replying to her. “That’s good then. But everything with me seems to be going pretty good, so yeah.” She nodded a little as she lightly bit her bottom lip. “You enjoying cheerleading with the squad, so far this year?” Quinn asked, she thought bringing up the subject would stop the conversation from going awkward since they were both on the squad.
Hanna tilted her head to the right lightly, slightly confused about Quinn's random subject changing, despite it being an usual habit that Hanna often did too. “Uh, yeah, of course! It's amazing.” she replied happily, that being the first answer that came to her mind, as she was unable to process a better one due to her confusion.

Quinn soon exited her thoughts when she noticed Hanna stood in front of her. “Oh, hey, Hanna.” The blonde said with a small smile as Hanna sat down next to her. “How’re you doing?” She asked as she turned a little on the bench so she was facing Hanna slightly. Quinn tucked some of her hair behind her ear as she waited for the girl to reply.
With a gentle smile, Hanna turned her face to Quinn to answer her question. "I'm quite good, thank you." she replied nicely. "How about you? Is everything good?" she asked, crossing her legs and widening her eyes.

Quinn wanted to get out of the house and avoid her siblings really, so the blonde decided to go for a walk around Hollows Edge. In the end, Quinn ended up in the towns park, sitting on one of the benches listening to her iPod. Quinn noticed that few people were actually in the park. The girls mind started to wander and she started to think about a few things that she’d had in the back of her head earlier when she was first walking about the town.
The distraction Quinn showed captured Hanna's attention. After a lengthy while of walking around the park, she decided to stand in front of her. "Quinn, hello." she greeted the blonde with a soft and silent voice, trying not to startle her like she usually did. Without asking for any permission, she sat next to her and stared blankly at nothing, waiting for Quinn to speak.

Mona smiled, she was actually happy that she didn’t scare Hanna away. “Hmm, thank you so much Hanna, I need some support right now. We must keep it between us. If my maker or any of her enemies finds out I told you, she’ll kill you without blinking.” Mona was serious about that. Killing a human to Katherine would be like breathing to a regular person. Mona wanted to hug Hanna, she couldn’t believe she took such heigh from her shoulders.
Katherine... "They'll never find out. And I can also pretend that it never happened." she bragged playfully, quickly stopping. She took into account that they were speaking about something serious; it maybe was true. Katherine finds out? Boom. Hanna could be dead in a second. In total honesty, it wasn't something that worried her at all.

Mona looked at Hanna and started speaking “Hanna, you can’t tell this to anyone.” she made sure that Hanna agreed with it. Mona showed Hanna her fangs. She was holding Hanna so strongly she was worried she might hurt her, but if she left her, she might run away. “I’m a monster.” she said with a couple of tears rolling from her face. She hid her fangs and kept talking “My maker uses me like a puppet and I’m a waste of space now, I’ve always been. Nobody has ever cared about me. I have nobody to tell what I am or to tell what I feel since nobody cares about me, or if I’m dead. Which I am by the way.” Mona realized Hanna’s scares face, she decided it was to early for her to talk about the person she killed.
The 'scared face' Hanna was making wasn't on purpose, it just surprised her a little discovering this secret Mona had kept well hidden. "I care about you, Mona. And you telling me this won't change anything." she started speaking, calming herself down. "I'm not scared, I won't stop being by your side, no matter what kind of supernatural creature you are, no matter if you're not even alive. I won't tell anyone if you don't want me to, this is a secret we'll keep between us, okay?" She was trying her best to comfort Mona, although it probably wouldn't work. She placed her own hand over Mona's.

''Nothing specific, just life in general. You know?'' She shrugged and leant her arms against the bar and tapped her fingers to a familiar rhythm she heard earlier on in the day. ''God it's dead in here, no pun intended.'' She chuckled whilst scamming the place which hardly had any vampires there.
Hanna made a stupid smile towards Rebekah. "No pun intended..." she repeated, laughing, the laughter was cut short. "Yeah, it happens to me too. We all have hard moments..." she said, fixing her gaze on her own hands. She followed the scamming Rebekah was doing, also contemplating how empty the bar was.

Mona wasn’t able to tell Hanna, she wouldn’t understand, she would look at Mona like she’s some kind of monster. “I… I can’t tell you” Mona could tell her, and if Hanna took it in a bad way she could always compel her so that she forgets. Mona was so confused. “It’s dangerous” she said.
Nervously, Hanna took a look around. "There's no one here other than us, you can tell me, I won't tell anyone." she assured, still not getting tired of trying to make Mona speak.

When Mona realized that Hanna was right in front of her, she tried to hide the tears and automatically said “Hey Hanna… yes, everything is ok.” she lied “Why do you ask?” Mona tried to do her best on hiding the sadness on her voice and putting the best fake smile she could.
"Doesn't seem like it..." Hanna murmured, staring at Mona's glassy eyes. She could see the sadness beyond that feigned smile, no matter how hard Mona tried to hide it. "Come on, you know you can tell me anything..." she insisted, attempting to make Mona tell what was going on.
Rebekah nodded in agreement before pushing her Tru Blood to the side. She wouldn't mind Hanna knowing, if she did anything it wouldn't be hard to kill her with a click of her fingers, but she was her friend and acting human made things that little bit easier. ''I come here a lot, it's actually a good place to take my mind off things.'' She shrugged and put a lock of her golden hair behind her ear. ''Don't worry I'm not a fangbanger.'' She said joking and let out a short laugh.
"True that, true that." Hanna agreed, shaking her index finger to the right and then to the left for a few seconds. Taking the mind off things, not something Hanna wasn't used to hear. She had to make sure she focused on not bringing up too sentimental subjects, as she didn't want Rebekah to feel worse, even if she wasn't quite sure of what was this thought bothering her. "May I know what is this thing you want to take your mind off of?" she questioned, feeling a certain curiosity.
''Hanna, hey!.'' She said waving back at the fellow blonde she stood up out of her seat hugging her friend loosely, before sitting back down and raising her eyebrow at the girl. ''First things first, what the hell are you doing here?'' She asked almost surprised.
Hanna crossed her thin arms at Rebekah's reaction. "Well, I like this place! I know I'm not a vampire or anything, but humans aren't forbidden here!" she responded, laughing. "What are you doing here? Just wanting to hang out or searching for someone?" she asked.

It had been a while since Rebekah went to Fangtasia. Her seemingly ‘normal’ teenage life had been taking over her usual vampire lifestyle much to her surprise. Walking over to the bar scanning the place for Eric absentmindedly before she realised what she was doing and got a place at the bar ordering a bottle of Tru Blood. Taking a drink from the bottle she looked around the place searching for a familiar face.
What was Hanna doing in a bar that was supposedly a vampire bar? She wasn't from the 'We're Afraid Of Vampires' clique, so she chose to visit the bar. Not a lot of vampires were inside the bar in that moment, Rebekah was the first face Hanna could catch. "Hey, Bekah!" she greeted the girl nicely, waving her hand.

Mona was sitting at the bus station, she wasn’t really expecting the bus since she wasn’t that far from home. She was quite ashamed for being how she was, Damon and Katherine were right, she was a waste of space and nobody cared about her. A couple of tears rolled on her face, but she tried to hide them, just in case someone could see her. The street looked empty but when Mona looked up and someone was looking back at her.
Hanna had just casually stepped into the bus station, using her typical excuse: 'I just want to take a walk.' She found herself encountering her good friend, Mona, but she could see things were going wrong. Mona's expression didn't particularly show happiness, so Hanna chose to walk up to her. "Mona? Hi, it's... uh, me, Hanna! Is everything alright?" she questioned her friend, sitting at her side.

He looked pleased to see she recognized him, that he was successful in making an impression. Perhaps that meant he was on other people’s radar as well. Inviting himself to flop down beside her, he stuffed his iPod into the pocket of his shorts and nodded. “Football. I’m already strong but I have to be fast as well… especially if I want to be captain. Which I do.” But he was sure everybody wanted to be captain. They just didn’t stand a chance like he did. He had experience with being captain at Beacon Hills, and the natural ability to lead, so it was only common sense that he be captain. He just wished the coach saw it that way. Sighing bitterly, he turned his attention to Hanna, cocking his head at her in curiousity. “What are you doing here by yourself?” He did a quick once over of the vicinity as if just to double check that she was, in fact, alone. Hanna didn’t seem like she was shy, that had been proven at the strip club, so she was sure to have friends. Maybe she was meeting someone? He turned back to Hanna and raised his eyebrows expectantly.
Hanna's aquamarine eyes travelled his entire body. Then, she shrugged before she chose to answer. "I don't know. I'm not exactly here for a meeting or such, I was... just... waiting for someone to come. I mean, anybody." she replied, raising her gaze back up to the spot where Jackson's face was. Hallelujah; now everyone was seeing her as a loner, questioning what she was doing 'there by herself'. Although she didn't precisely took it as an offense, it reached a point where it resulted annoying. But, it was Jackson... there was no point whatsoever in being mean to him. "Well, good luck with the captain thing, then." she encouraged him, softly hitting his shoulder with her fist. She believed Jackson had the strength to become a captain, so she didn't hesitate about him triumphing, not even once.
Rachel’s eyes widened as she got completely confused what the hell was Hanna rambling about. “Uh.” She laughed awkwardly and shook her head. “Uhm a bunny? What? I mean yeah I guess if some people turn into dogs, some can turn into bunnies… who knows maybe even cats too.” Now Rachel was rambling too not sure where the blonde was going with this.
Hanna was just absentmindedly ignoring Rachel's confusion. She found it extremely hilarious how she didn't even understand her own topic, the one that she brought up. "People can turn into dogs? Wow. That's... impressive." she replied, also widening her own eyes. "I would like to turn into an animal. I don't know, any. It sounds nicer than being an human." she remarked.
