Long Overdue Update

Hi followers! It’s been ages since I posted anything, so it’s time for a quick update! I promise to be more active in the next few months posting new cool work + more stories.

The last few months have been so hectic and eye opening for me. I completed my BFA Photography program at the School of Visual Arts last week. It’s been a slow learning curve the last year, but in the end, I found it was one of my most productive years, and I’ve developed a better understanding of why I photograph, and what I want to convey through my photos. More on that later.

It has been a rocky year, but now that I am finished, I feel somewhat at peace. At least the closed I’ve felt to peace in 2 years. I’ve taken a much needed few weeks off to reflect on what I’ve learned and to consider what I want to do. The life of a photographer is never stagnant because you are always catching up and planning ahead. It’s running a business and coming up with ideas simultaneously.

I’m tying up loose ends from school and working on finding a new place in Brooklyn where I can set up a home studio, I’m launching a new portrait website, a retouching website, fixing up my website, working on analytics, social media, organizing, and rebranding. It’s the perfect time for a fresh start, and I’m excited to see what the future holds.
