For all that Hannibal manipulates him I feel he's extremely emotionally dependent on will. He loses much of his smaller interests when away from will, still functioning but clearly much less content.

I do believe that if will died Hannibal would kill himself. I don't think he'd personally end his own life, but would spiral by killing more often and escalating, until he ultimately dies in an alternation with law enforcement.

His connection with Will became something he was incredibly invested in, finally finding some form of limited understanding that held potential for a form of honest acceptance.

I do think in the later seasons he views himself and Will as equals, despite the fact that he has destroyed Will's life and forced a desperate evolution from him.

Official Fic Announcement!

I'm delighted to collaborate with @ondust to bring you ONLY MONSTERS PLAY GOD, a Hannigram Frankenstein AU. My beautiful fandom wife @adreamwithin inspired @ondust (as she often does) to create some Frankenhanni art, and then OnDust asked me to make some words to go with her gorgeous art.

And THEN... oh, and then, folks, the new Guillermo del Toro movie came out and we were totally done for, y'all. I reread the book with Victor's feverish intensity and watched the film a few times to scrutinize each moment. After some creative discussion/collab, we had an outline and were off to the races!

I can't express how excited I am to have an artist partner in crime. I believe the best teams have strengths that even out each other's lacking skill sets, and @ondust and I fit together like puzzle pieces in that regard.

How long will it be? Will it be Bram Stoker's HANNIBAL sized? How long will it take? I honestly do not know! We're 2 chapters ahead right now and... we go onward, Ba'al willing LOL.
