Rek regrets agreeing to this.

But it was Branzy! Branzy was like, one of the only people who hadn't betrayed him! Yet. Still, he could trust Branzy more than anyone else. That wasn't to say he could trust Branzy- no. He didn't trust himself.

All that is to say, Branzy probably won't kill him.

But hide-and-seek definitely wasn't the best choice of game when Rek already jumps at every slight noise, already turns to look at every little movement, is already too cautious.

Branzy's footsteps on the wooden planks above where Rek sits hidden in a tiny crawlspace beneath the fake floor of the casino are loud as thunder to Rek's sensitive ears.

He doesn't like the enclosed space. If Branzy finds him now, Rek can't escape. There's nowhere he can run, no easy exit if Branzy attacks.

"Oh, Rekrap!" Branzy calls. It's just a game, Rek tells himself. He's not being hunted.

But wouldn't it be just like Branzy to ask Rek to play a silly little game, only to reveal that it was a trap all along?

Wouldn't it be just like Branzy to play mind games with him, to lure him in with something as innocent as a hide-and-seek, just to turn a simple thing deadly?

Wouldn't it be just perfect?

But Rek has to trust that he won't. With every agonizingly long second that ticks by, he is more and more sure Branzy's playing with him. And not in the nice, kids-on-a-playground way.

"Found you!"

Rek jumps, limbs banging painfully against the walls of his tiny prison hideout. Branzy's upside-down head smiles happily at him, no trace of any trickery on his face. But Branzy wouldn't be a very good trickster if he couldn't act, would he?

"Hi, Branzy," Rek replies, dragging himself out of the cramped position he's been in for what feels like an eternity. Branzy falls with a small oomph and joins Rek on the ground.

"My turn to hide?" Branzy asks innocently. Rek doesn't like this. But he doesn't see how Branzy being the one hiding could possibly be a trap.

That doesn't mean it isn't. Branzy's smart, and they're in his territory here in the casino. Rek doesn't trust him for a moment. "Sure."

"Alright!" Branzy stands up and builds back up into the casino. His voice is muffled through the wood as he calls, "Give me two minutes!"

In the end, Branzy doesn't trick him. They finish their game and Rek leaves unharmed. But Rek doesn't take this as a sign to be less cautious. Branzy's building up trust with Rek now, but he can easily break that later.

Rek's learned that the hard way. And no matter how much he wants to trust Branzy, he can't trust a single soul on Lifesteal.

Especially not the man who abandoned his former closest ally for a killer clown. Especially not the man who's survived on lies and deceit, betraying his way into twenty hearts when he can't survive a single conflict.

Rek wants to trust Branzy. He really, really does. But trust is a weapon, one whose blade Rek's felt too many times.

Out of 19000+ followers I have, only one of you actually reblogged about this issue, yet a lot of you have reblogged and liked a picture by playboy about catcalling and that how men should never do it.

Additionally, I have received abuse in my ask box (which I will be answering when I can) and threats. In particular death threats and rape threats.

I can see the real problem here already. Male domestic violence and rape is just invisible in our society because we don’t want to talk about this because it just damages the status quo of this fucking website.

I: *smiling* of course I did. My sacrifice was worth it... Just like yours

R: ... Do you think they'll forgive you?

("They'll" referring to the kids she sent off/the kids who saw her die)

I: No... But I think they'll forgive you...

*Ray finally looking at isabella*

R: ...

R: Hah, as if.

Extraordinary You x Tpn

Extraordinary You is about the MC realising that she was in a romance novel but a secondary character. She soon know about the “off-stage” and “Stage”(I don’t really remember the names) She unintentionally&intentionally caused a shift in the story’s plot, changing its ending, making a background character to one of the protagonist, etc.

Ray found a book that coincidentally matches the situation in the orphanage. ‘The Book’ is like any other novels, except that it had blank pages after a few pages.

"Off-camera": It is parts where ‘The Book’ does not have any words written about it, it is created by those who are aware of their situation. Basically non-Canon stuff.

"Stage": Anime/manga, where ‘The Book’ has the situation written on it, planned by the Author.

Main points:

Ray was reading a book in the library late at night when ‘The Book’ suddenly fell off its shelf, alerting Ray. He picked it up, read a few pages and realised the similarities between his situation and the plot in the story and also the missing words in the book.

Norman was the second to find out about the book. (I haven’t thought that much about it)

There is another book similar to ‘The Book’, but it is in another universe, but similar plot(how original)

Random scenarios:

Norman feels sick.

One moment he was staring at a smiling Emma.

The next moment he was taking their daily tests.

The next moment he was being tucked to bed by his older siblings.

It all happened in a blink. He was now sitting under the lone oak tree, lying next to Ray, who seemed to be invested in some book about machines. Norman looked up to see... A portal? Looking around him, no one else noticed it. His siblings are still running around and Mom is walking around as usual. Blissfully unaware about the unknown hole in the sky.

Scenario 2:

Ray looked away from the book and towards the ceiling of the library.

“Making me suffer for 6 years, just for my efforts to slip from my grasp… You really are sick, Author.”

“But, as long as the main protagonists are alive, you would never care about the others, right?”

Scenario 3:

R: “There is a lot to infer from this book, despite having blank pages.”

N: “...Our fate has been sealed."

R: "Bingo."

R: "We can infer that our ending has been decided, even if we hate the outcome. On the topic of said ending, we can deduce that one, the story focused only on the romance and ends tragically. Or two..."

N: "…We escaped."

(13/5/22: this idea popped up when I was half-asleep, after hours of reading tpn fics, so if it doesn't make sense... Yeah..)

Ghost!Ray au

He died after burning himself alive, but unable to move on. So he follows Emma and the others throughout their journey in demonland.

Random scenarios:

(In the forest, just made it out of orphanage)

E: "aren't you cold? You aren't wearing a sweater, just the uniform."

Ray blinked.

"Emma, I'm a ghost. I don't get cold."

"Oh."

(Emma meets Norman in Paradise hideout)

N: “...Where’s Ray?”

E: “Oh! Uh…He died, but he's still here? As a ghost!”

N: “...Emma... I think–”

E: “No! I swear he’s still here! He helped keep watch when I was too tired! He helped when I was in Goldy Ponds! He even helped our family! I swear he is here! Believe me!"

N: “…Emma I know it’s hard to—”

R: “Told you. Me being a figment of your imagination is more believable than ghosts. The more you talk about it, the crazier you sound, Emma.”

Keep in mind that many of these AUs are literally from my memory of the anime/manga bc there's no way I kept up with which chapter was which arc and I'm lazy, sue me.

I might actually write a fanfic about the Extraordinary You x TPN, the idea is unique and why not? I haven’t even finish ZFZF yet what am I doing with my life.
