Gonna start with the fact that I don't do shipping.

I'm not much of a romantic and think it's just punishing yourself if you ship non-cannon in a fandom. Plus the fanart/fics can get real freaky real fast sometimes.

Yet for some reason Sonic franchise is different. I'm new, and have been watching/reading old and new cartoons/comics getting the tone of different relationships. And man, I really do prefer Sonic/Sally's dynamic over Sonic/Amy. Like Sally can verbally spar with Sonic and he tries to get her more than she pursues him half the time. Even with Amy's personality shifts through the years to be an independent protagonist, he still doesn't always take her seriously. Their running gag seems to be Amy tries and Sonic hides. He's always disappointing her. And it’s not as charming as the secret crush trope, because it’s not a secret so it just gets awkward.

Anyway what I'm leading up to is I love the recent cannon from the Twitter Takeovers and I really am becoming convinced of the Amy Rose/Shadow pairing.

I suppose it started with the game The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog. Where not only does Shadow show up, but in costume! You know he wouldn't do that for anyone else (besides Maria) and he tries really hard to get her a thoughtful birthday present.

Then it's revealed he goes to concerts with her, he enjoys her enthusiasm! He will even go shopping with Amy. He said he doesn’t go shopping. And let's be honest if anybody needs the bright ray of sunshine that is Amy Rose in their life it's Shadow.

So yeah that's my one ship I'll back up.

The Last Letter

Inspiration: "you don't deserve to be forgotten"

It was already too late and Callie probably should be home already but tomorrow was the last day and she needed to do this.

She walked into Mark’s room, pushed the chair that was close to the wall next to the bed and grabbed his hand. Even if it had been almost a month she still wasn’t used to seeing him like this.

She pressed her head into the mattress and let the tears out. 

A couple of minutes later she picked herself up and took the letter out of her pucket, took a deep breath and started reading it out loud.

“Mark, the moment I met you, you changed my life for the best, I can’t think how my life would be without you and I don’t want to. You gave me a lot of headaches but also the best thing I could ask for, Sophia, our  sweet little girl, she is still so little, but don’t worry I will make sure she knows how much you love her and all the crazy stories you wanted to tell her. You are a great father, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. My life took a turn for the best when I met you and I don’t regret a second of it. There are a lot of people out there that will miss you and a lot that will be sorry that they never met you. I just want to say that it's okay, you can go, I forgive you, I know how painful it must be to be here without her but you don’t deserve to be forgotten and I will make sure you aren’t.”

Callie folded the letter again and put it back into her pocket and proceeded to clean her tears, she let go of Mark’s hand, got up and left the room without looking back, now she could start grieving.

Hhhhh. This is so rushed. ;^; It is 11pm and I realised at 10pm I forgot to do this so I legit rushed it.

Ignore the fact corrupted broke their hand, happens all the time. Aka I can't draw hands to save my life. ;^;

I really wished I remembered to do this sooner, I really did! It would have been more neater and I am extremely tired. I had school(online) and that caused me to be more focused on that. Then I listened to music, roleplayed 3 roleplays and my friends and I were naming AUs and since I love Reapertale, I just yeeted out Reapertale and then I cursed and then apologised for swearing despite everyone in that group chat swearing all the time but I usually censor- And then I panicked and rushed and Corrupted has a broken hand or 2.
