This... isnāt really easy for me to write, but Iāll do what I can.
Iāll start with the simple facts: Iām having to drop all of my muses here. Ā I donāt really like the idea of it, because I love these kids and the relationships they have and the way they are, but I as a mun have to for my own personal health.
Iāve been very stressed recently. When I log on and see IMs Iāve been having panic attacks, which.... is never good. At first I did my best to ignore these problems and ignore the issues Iāve been having in general, but... Ignoring things doesnāt work out so well. Because of that, Iāve found myself growing increasingly panicked and slowly over time I donāt think I can really just try to ignore.Ā
Which is what leads me to leaving. Iām sorry to have to do it, but itās whatās best for me in the end. I canāt deal with panic and all of that anymore. I canāt deal with people who just... make me upset.Ā
Ā I do love all of you and if you ever want to talk to me, youāre free to. Iām always up for talking. Youāre free to message me for my contact info, Iāll get it to you. Iāll be around for a bit just to get it you, so it works to message me here. If not, my KakaoTalk is ShotgunHides.
With.. that note, I should probably mention my little secret.
Iām also Jiyongās mun, Shotgun. Iām sorry to have hidden it from all of you! I was worried that everyone might judge me if they found out I had 6 characters... So I thought it better to go incognito.Ā
If you want to just message me to hear a bit more, please do. Iāll miss all of you so much.
Thank you so much for everything. Thank you for making me feel like I had somewhere safe to go, even if it didnāt last.
Hello kiddies. Iām still a slow and tired bun, but Iāve realized that some of my kids are low on plots. If youād like to plot with any of my kids (Hansol, Yoongi Wonshik, Zitao, and Minhyuk) give this post a like and Iāll roll into your inbox so we can plot yes owo~!
āYes, of course Iāll agree to trust you.ā The words brought a strange sense of calm to Wonho and he reached out to take Hansolās hand.Ā āI donāt think I should be in public for much longer, or my glamour will drop again. If you know a better place to talk where we wonāt be seen⦠Iāll follow you⦠or⦠I have an apartment nearbyā¦ā He trailed off, his thoughts jumbled If this person was like him, did the same rules apply? If they were similar, then⦠was he immune to the harm Wonho could cause? It felt like Wonho was hoping for too much, and the thought that he could somehow be dangerous to Hansol was concerning. He needed to tell Hansol before his glamour dropped again. But what would he do if Hansol ran? Right now, in this state, he couldnāt chase him. In the end, of course, he would trust Hansol.
āIāll follow you where ever it is that you want to go.ā
His eyes narrow just a little at the introduction. Heāll remember that name for sure. Wonho is hopefully going to become a new player in Hansolās little game of life, after all. Heās still smiling- still watching closely. He doesnāt want to let this chance go, but he also wants to know so much more. He would probably be asking a million questions if he wasnāt scared that he might lose Wonho then and there for it. So instead he just waits.
He catches the gasp and canāt help but smile just a bit more genuinely. It seems that they both had similar reactions to seeing each otherās true forms, though Hansolās is far less interesting in his own opinion. Itās just his teeth and eyes, after all. Sure, he grows claws but those are neatly trimmed. Thereās nothing fascinating about his appearance, itās only freakish. He thinks his eyes are ugly- the teeth worse. They make him look violent- like someone who bites and claws. Maybe theyāre a bit more accurate than heād like to admit... Sharp eyes for watching someoneās every move- teeth and claws for digging in and refusing to let go... No, the reason he hates his mutant features is for their accuracies.
He keeps eye contact even as his hand is outstretched- mostly because Wonho certainly isnāt looking away. Hansol is sure the staring is wondering why Ā exactly Hansolās eyes are so bizarre or perhaps a slight fear or judgement. He canāt be sure. A moment later the contract is agreed on- even with a shake of hands. Hansolās eyes practically light up. He can feel the contract hit and itās instantly fatiguing. This isnāt the type of contract he can take lightly, but that doesnāt mean heās not pleased. Wonho has to trust him now. This means that he doesnāt need to act as wholly- he doesnāt have to try as hard. He can say what he needs to. He grips Wonhoās hand just a little tighter- allowing his eyelids to droop slightly. This contract is going to take a bit to get used to... Itās so worth it.
āAh... Is that what youāre other form is called...? A glamour?ā He hums lightly.Ā āBut... Yes, if your apartment isnāt far that would be good. I live a little further away right now... If you donāt mind inviting my into your house I would gladly come with you.ā He doesnāt let go of Wonhoās hand. He doesnāt plan to either. Heās just smiling softly- tired but pleased with himself. He laughs softly- free hand fidgeting with the bottom of his hoodie. Yes, this works well... Perfectly. The following statement is oddly nice- it gives him a mental rush. Itās always a joy to have someone around who will say things like that- that will follow him anywhere.
āCome. We can get out of here.ā He pulls slightly, but not hard- just enough to get Wonho to follow. He drops a bit of money on both tables as he goes- enough to pay for what they ordered. He doesnāt really mind paying for Wonho- wonāt ask for payment back. When theyāre both outside he finally glances back at Wonho.
āYou can lead the way!ā Thereās another soft laugh.Ā āAh... But... Iām curious about your... glamour? Is there a problem with it dropping? I mean, other than people staring...ā He mumbles a little more now.Ā āI... Sort of thought it was beautiful.ā
The end of the fight marked his victory with a sword at his opponentās neck, he reached out to give the guy a handshake, and bowed. It was a good fight, good training and as much as he was rearing to go again his sparring buddy had another class to attend. Walking over to his stuff, he picked up some cloth and patted at his forehead, taking deep breaths as he tried to catch his breath. The sudden greeting from behind him, had him turning to look who it was. His sharp eyes watching the incoming guy like a hawk, already so weary but he relaxed when he realized that the kid was from this place too. Heād probably spotted him in the halls but didnāt exactly pay much attention.Ā
āOh. Um, thank you.ā He bowed, respectful, polite, as he acknowledged the praise.Ā āYes. It is,ā his voice was low and he looked away again only to continue to fix his things.Ā āDo you use a sword too?ā Based on what he had observed, the guy didnāt seem like he used any weapon, he looked quite frail but he learned that judging or assuming things in this kind of place was the worst thing one could do.
Reserved, thatās what this guy is. Hansolās keeping his eyes open purely to look for little ticks in body language- movements that could give him a hint as to what words to string together next. This guy obviously isnāt the type who just eats compliments- which means Hansol will need to drop that idea right away. It seems curiosity can work well enough, so heāll stick with it for the moment. Heās good at asking questions- likes learning what he can, so thatās a fair thing to do not matter what. He hums just a bit to himself- bringing a hand up to ruffle the back of his hair.Ā
What a question. Hansol, a swordsman? Is that a joke. Hansolās smile turns a bit awkward as he lets out a little laugh- followed by a smile. Maybe he should use this to his advantage. Sympathy is, after all, a great way to persuade. He drops his hand and grabs his wrist just a little- eyes more on the ground now. Keep polite- donāt come across as a threat. He speaks in a calm but almost nervous tone.
āOh... No, I wish.ā His laughs yet again- making it sound just Ā a bit strained.Ā āIām just... smart. Thatās really all I have going for me. I wish my skills were that cool, honestly, but unfortunately Iāve never been very good with fights. I guess physicality just isnāt my strong point.ā He bites his lip a little- eyes scanning the ground. Heās playing like heās bad at hiding something now- like this made him think of something completely different. Heās pretending to be ashamed when he really couldnāt care less. If he needed to fight he would already.
āBut... Iāve always sort of admired the skill I see in people who practice swordsmanship... Or any weapons, I suppose.ā He looks up again- changing the subject to make it seem like he doesnāt want to say to much. His act is dizzying sometimes, but he manages to keep up with himself. He tightens his grip on his wrist just a little.Ā āI met an archer not long ago... He was amazing to watch. How you all manage to use such finesse is absolutely amazing to me!ā Thatās a lie if heās ever heard one. Woohyun, the archer, is just a jerk who shoots for fun. Honestly, Woohyun is awfully pretty to watch arch but Hansol is pretty sure that the annoyance that would come from watching would ruin the show.
He blinks just a little. Does he look nervous? Probably. Thatās how he should.Ā āOh! Gosh... Iām sorry... Iām so rude. I got caught up with my fascination and didnāt even introduce myself!ā He shakes his head now.Ā āIām Kim Hansol. Iām sorry again for my completely lack of tact.ā
āYes yesā¦I mean, yes!ā She snapped back to attention, laughing with one hand over a wide, open mouth. āI would love that. I have no problem looking around on my own, but itās always fun to have someone introduce instead.ā Then she waved him off. āItās not that bad! This isnāt the first time Iāve moved, and the last time Iād moved from the country to the city!ā She broke out into silent laughter, showing off pearly white teeth as she looked up at Hansol. āBut I would never turn down an invitation for friendship, so whenever youāre game Iām game!ā
Part of him almost feels bad for just how oblivious this girl is. She just seems like the kind of person who could get eaten alive by someone who was clearly a cannibal because she wanted to give them a chance. Itās not that anyone ever really notices that Hansolās intentions arenāt so pure- heās a good actor so he normally isnāt caught, itās just that... He almost feels like the act is wasted on her. He could be a worse actor and she probably still wouldnāt notice. Itās not going to stop him from acting, but it certainly does pass through his head.
Gee is surely playing into this somewhat though. People really do let their guard down around animals... Itās because theyāre just so cute. Hansol really canāt blame her for that much, even if he does think sheās a bit dense. Gee is absolutely precious and Hyejin seems happy enough getting to hold the wiggly little ferret. Geeās full of energy which explains why sheās so quick to nuzzle the girl and Hansol just flashes a smile.Ā
Sheās talking again and Hansol tilts his head to the side. Sheās a very cheery type, really. Heāll have to write all of the observations down later. It could be helpful to remember, after all. He likely wonāt forget even if he doesnāt write these things down, but itās for safe keeping. He nods his head just a little- just going along with what sheās saying. Be agreeable, be friendly.Ā
āI think that itās much more fun to do things like look around when you have someone, though! I can tell you all of the silly stories about the facility, after all!ā He laughs softly- more like a chuckle. He pushes a hand gently to his chest- just a habit that happens in certain acts.Ā āIāve always been in the city myself... But I know that moving here was a big deal for me! I had never been so far from home! I was very desperate to make friends at first because I was so scared I wouldnāt be able to!ā Thereās a shake of his head along with another chuckle. Heās looking at the girl with a friendly spark in his eye. He hopes his act remains flawless... So she can be more useful.
āWell... Iād honestly love to show you around any time! I donāt do much these days, so Iām available most times!ā He claps his hands together.Ā āI can bring Gee too! She likes you an awful lot, so Iām sure sheād be happy to come!ā
āIām⦠iām so sorry. I wasnāt going to hurt you, I promise!ā The words fall out and the finality of it rings through him, the promise slamming into him as he says it and he wonders if this other person felt it also. He throws up his glamour finally with a gasp, the effort of it straining him so much that he nearly has to hold himself up. After a moment he looks up.
āPlease⦠I..ā He doesnāt know what hes asking, or why, just knows that he doesnāt want to be alone again.
Hansolās eyes snap opened wide the moment the stranger is pulling away. His heart tells him that he should probably run, his mind backs all of that up, but his curiosity keeps him firmly rooted. He canāt just run off... No, not when heās gotten this far. He needs to wrap this one around his finger just like some of the others. He needs more control, more power. He needs this stranger to rely on him... A mutant on the outside of the foundation is that much better, after all. The foundation canāt track a neutral movements as easily... They can, but... No, not nearly as easily as they could if he was living inside the walls.
And suddenly, Hansol finds himself unable to look away. The illusion snaps and, if only for a split second, Hansol sees the truth. A slight gasp escapes his throat despite how strongly heās been working to hide his emotions. This stranger is beautiful. Thereās nothing Hansol could even begin to deny about that. Hansol himself is an ugly demon when he uncovers his eyes and fangs, but this man is truly a piece of art. Hansol would be willing to say those things too, but heās good enough about biting his tongue. If the stranger feels a need to hide then surely thereās a reason for it. He wonāt comment on the appearance, no. He wonāt say a word. He drops his glance for a moment- letting out a breath he was very unaware he was holding. Some mutations just arenāt fair.
āHansol... Kim Hansol.ā His voice is low- keeping in that same somewhat nervous pitch he had before. Heās back to speaking in a way that covers his fangs just a little bit better. Itās a force of habit now.Ā ā And you?ā He looks up- contact suddenly bothering his eyes more than they did before. He glances over the stranger yet again. Heās getting closer and part of that makes Hansol extremely nervous. Heās not good at fighting. He wonāt win. He grips the bottom of his sleeve slightly, pulling on it- making the bandages underneath shift. Ugly bandages to cover ugly cuts. Heās feeling strange. He needs to get rid of the feeling.
He doesnāt so much as flinch when thereās a hand close to his face. He canāt. His mask might slip too much if he did, so he forces a lack of reaction. He just looks at the stranger- curiosity in his eyes. There are still tears in his eyes. The contacts burn... Heās beginning to think he needs to take them out for more than just proof that this stranger isnāt the only freak. The crying act might have made the stupid things uncomfortable. He nearly jumps just a little when the hand is pulled away- sudden.Ā
Thereās some distance between them and Hansol pushes himself to the wall instinctively- as though heās expecting to be hit. Thatās not what happens, though. No, the stranger is much further away and Hansol finds himself feeling odd about the amount of space. Words are spoken- promises that Hansol would normally consider so hollow. No one can ever promise anything and mean it. Why would he trust that kind of thing? He never has in the past.
But this time, thereās a tightness in his chest. Itās reminiscent, like a contract, but... somehow different. It makes him nervous. He doesnāt like it. He pulls at the hoodie heās wearing just over his chest and lets out a shaky breath. No, he doesnāt like this one bit. The strangerās illusion is back and Hansolās mask cracks- if only for a split second. He looks just a bit agitated- but it doesnāt last long. Itās replaced with an expression of concern. Heās not sure how much of this feeling is real and how much is faked. Sometimes liars lie to themselves better than anyone else, after all.
He takes a few steps forward- still a bit shaky but strong enough. He glances in the mirror and lets out a sigh. He pulls a contact case out of his pocket and takes just a moment to pull the colored lenses from his eyes. They were stinging too much and he doesnāt want to think about them anymore. Heās sure its more obvious now just what kind of freak he is, but he doesnāt mind. He blinks a few times- trying to get the pain out of his eyes- before placing the case back in his pockets. He lets slit yellow eyes relax on the stranger once again before walking a few steps closer. Heās not sure if this stranger is ok with being touched... If this were a friend- an acquaintance even, heād be likely to hug them. Heās always been one for all hands on, but not when thereās a chance this stranger might pull away because of it. So instead he reaches a hand out softly, palm upturned.Ā
Itās an invitation.
āItās okay. Iām okay.ā His voice is very soft.Ā āYou donāt have to promise me anything. I know how it feels to be scared... Iām here, so you donāt have to feel alone anymore, alright?ā His words make him a bit sick. Heās not sure how much of that is the act, but the fact that some of it is would be... cruel enough. He smiles just a little.Ā āSee? I told you my eyes are just as freaky as you might expect. I get called a lot of strange things when people see them, but donāt worry... Theyāre nothing to be scared of.ā He smiles just a little more- letting his fangs flash despite himself. He has to keep the reminder that heās also a mutant going. Itās a bit important to this act.
āIf youāre okay with it... We can get a drink or something... Or we could talk somewhere more private than... here? I just need you to agree to trust me.ā The contract is set out, plain and simple. He just needs the agreement.
He tries to seem intimidating. He hopes he does at least a little, the hours he spent in the gym working out coming to mind. The other guy had looked scared, so maybe this would work. But then, the last words he had said to Wonho slowly filtered through the haze.
āWhat⦠do you mean someone like you?ā A sudden spark of hope appears inside him. Could there really be someone else like him?Ā
One moment heās acting, the next heās against a wall with his eyes wide. Heās not one for violence- never has been. In fact, Hansol is actually so bad at fighting that he usually avoids even the chance of getting into some sort of physical altercation. But, here he is: up against a wall looking at some stranger and... Honestly this scenario could be fun for him in a different context but right now heās a bit concerned at best. He lets himself show his fear- lets the stranger see just how wide his eyes get and the way his mouth opens with a weak gasp. Fearās not easy to fake.
āW-What I... saw?ā He repeats weakly- letting his eyes dart around the room.Ā āB-But... But I just--ā He squirms ever so slightly. Heād really rather not get hit right now. Heāll have to find some sort of way to keep that from happening. His mind isnāt coming up with something quickly enough for his tastes and he grits his teeth ever so slightly. He lets his gaze settle on the strangerās eyes again- breathing picking up. Heās not going to get into a fight.
But then it hits the stranger and Hansolās expression lights up a little. Shock comes to his face and he nods his head. Itās an immediate reaction, maybe even sort of a dumb one, but it works well enough. He gently puts a hand on the strangerās arm and gives a very weak smile. This time, he lets his teeth- his fangs show.
āY-Yes! Someone like me! I-I... I canāt imagine how scared you must be right now b-but please... listen to me!ā He can feels tears pricking in his eyes. Has he really gotten that good at crying on cue...? Or is he actually just that scared of getting beaten up in a restaurant bathroom?Ā āY-You see them, donāt you? M-My teeth? My eyes are different too! These are just contacts. I-I know that I hide for the same reason Iām sure you are. Youāre probably... scared, right? You donāt want me to run off and tell everybody about you because of what they might do?ā He squirms a bit more- tears spilling over as he starts to shake. Heās not sure whatās acting anymore.Ā
He does hate the way he looks- the demon eyes, the fangs. He hates them. He hates what they imply and what people assume when they see them. He hates what they represent... He wants to hide them from the world so that he doesnāt get judged. This guy... he can hide far easier. No contacts. No smiling with his mouth closed or forcibly cutting his nails to prevent them from turning into sharp points. No fear of lights when its dark outside. He can just wave a hand and it will go away... Hansolās jealous.
āPeople might think youāre a freak, right..? I know the feeling... People... staring. They canāt possibly understand and then you think one might and-ā He stops. His mind is going somewhere strange and he shakes it off. This is an act. Just an act.Ā āIām not like those people... I-Iām like you. Iām a... a mutant or a freak or... whatever word you want to use. I can take my contacts out, if you want... I can show you just... Please believe me.ā
āwhat? youāreā¦joking. right? you have to be.ā sheās looking at him so weirdly, so completely thrown off. āthatāsāweird. jaehwan andā¦yixing? iāve seen them together a couple of times but i didnāt thinkā¦wow. doesnāt surprise me that the little shitās a stalker though. talk about a yikes.ā she frowns as she stares down at the table, shifting in place as she exhales sharply. āiād wish him good luck if i cared about them more. but i donāt. soāwhatever happens, happens i guess.ā
she shrugs her shoulders, and merely raises a brow to hansolās defenses. she lifts her hands up in a dismissing manner, snorting as she shoots him a strange look. ātesty, testy. i got you. diaries are like a sacred aspect to our privacy or something, right? i respect that.ā
but she still stares, wondering; ever so curious. āā¦you write anything interesting in it? iām willing to listen.ā
Her reaction is about what he was expecting. He smiles a little more and gives a calm shake of the head- spinning the straw in his own drink. He didnāt exactly mean to make her choke, but honestly that just adds to the shock of the matter. Itās fun to see how people react to odd little facts and thatās one of many reasons that Hansol makes such an effort to collect them. He hums just a little- resting his chin against his palm.Ā
āHonestly, I was shocked too. I mean, Yixing is cute and certainly has a friendly attitude but Jaehwan is just so... Ahh~ Whatās the word...ā He closes his eyes for a moment- thinking.Ā āQuiet, I suppose? Thatās the nice way of saying it.ā He opens his eyes again- smirk showing up on his face. This really is fun. If only she knew just how many other things he knows. They could talk for days about all of the inanities that go on in Daybreak. Then again, Hansol certainly wouldnāt want her to know too much. Too much info in the wrong hands could bite him- and heās pretty sure everyone is the wrong hands aside from himself.
āIām a little shocked you donāt have more to say, though! I thought it was something fun to talk about!ā He laughs as cutely as he can manage. Itās too bad that she hasnāt got more insight, but he wonāt push it any further. He just glances at the book in his lap and lets out a small sigh. How is he going to play this one? What should he say to dodge the topic, really? What would make her bored?
āOh well... Honestly, itās just full of me whining.ā He frowns a little- eyes focusing on the table.Ā āUnless you want to here about my gross crushes and feeling self conscious, I really doubt itās interesting. Iām sure I can find something a little less idiotic if I try, but really itās just streams of thoughts.ā He flips the book opened slowly and brushes through the pages. Thereās bound to be something a bit more tame toward the beginning if he looks.
āIām afraid Iām just not the interesting.ā
the warm greeting is enough for his guard to melt down just the slightest, and he bows his head just a little to the older in thanks.
it dawns on him that hansol might be afflicted with the same terrible sleeping schedule as he did, in which mark opens the door a little wider.
ādoā¦you want to come in and have some tea?ā he doesnāt think heās ever said that before, actually - he was always more of a milk than a tea person.
the thing is,Ā ādo you want to have some milk that i just bought the day before?āĀ does not roll off the tongue as nicely as the offer of tea, so he decided not to ask.
Hansol is quick to pick up on the little way this kid smiles. Itās easy enough to tell that heās shy just for the slight discomfort in his eyes and motions. Thatās not a problem, though. Hansol knows how to deal with shy. He can be shy himself, after all. Itās just a matter of toning back the excitement in his voice and showing a little more compassion. Not a problem. Easy enough.
āMark?ā He lets the name roll off his tongue. Heās pretty sure that heās heard that name somewhere in one of his English horror movies, but isnāt about to bring that up. So he just nods his head softly. Thereās a mental note made that there may be a rebellious streak in this kid- judging by the way Hansol first found himself spoken too. Alternately, maybe Mark just isnāt used to dealing with people older than him...
Hansol tilts his head again- eyes widening a bit with curiosity and posture reflecting the same. He pulls a hand up to slightly grip at the hem of his sleeve. Heās switching acts ever so slightly, but itās not really noticeable. Heās just playing himself a little less outgoing and a bit more shy. The change will probably come across more as a nervous front than anything. The shyness tends to seem more real to most people.
āTea...?ā His question is more quiet. He smiles a little bit more- fangs still hidden to the best of his ability. Itās still difficult for him to smile with his mouth closed. Heās just not used to it.Ā āThat... actually sounds very good. I think I could use something to wake me up. I just absolutely couldnāt sleep last night.ā
He sighs on the outside and smirks on the inside. Sympathy should be easier to get from this guy. Maybe he should play that card... Heāll just need to make sure it works first.
āOf course, only if you donāt mind having me. I donāt want to intrude on you. Especially not at this early hour.ā
The guy is speaking again, and he looks nervous but the words donāt penetrate through Wonhoās panic. What if he went into the bathroom? Would he be followed? Could he threaten the guy with a glamour there? He hadnāt threatened anyone before. Did he need to? Gods, his heart felt like it was going to burst out of his chest. Ā Either way, he needed to move, if he stayed here, his personal glamour might break. He pushed back his chair quickly, and sidestepped the other guy as he rushed into the restroom.Ā
He would have to try to threaten him into a promise. It was the only way.
āPlease let this work.ā he repeated over and over as he rushed forward.
Eyes turn to slits behind the cover of contacts. Hansol almost lets his smirk show his fangs as the stranger drops his fork quite loudly. The food turns back to itās previously unappealing state. Good. Hansol wasnāt seeing things, he was right. He looks at the stranger again- face turning to worry. He grips his upper arm harder- making himself seem much more nervous than heās even close to feeling. Thereās an awkward silence between the both of them and Hansol lets his vision shift around- as though itās uncomfortable for him to make eye contact.Ā
The strangerās standing up within a second and Hansol practically jumps back at the moment. His acts a little to prepared, so itās easy for him to appear scared. The stranger retreats into the bathroom and, for a moment, Hansol stays still. Thatās quite the reaction. Obviously the stranger doesnāt want anyone else in this restaurant to see anything. Hansol just stares in the bathroomās direction for a moment before following- slowly. No need to give a quick chase.Ā
The moment heās also in the bathroom he gives the stranger a small glance. His head tilts to the side and he crosses his arms. How does he convince this stranger that he means no harm...? There are probably plenty of ways... But thereās one sticking out as the obvious considering what heās already set up. He takes a step closer and pushes a hand gently over his own heart.
āI-Iām sorry. I didnāt mean to scare you! Please donāt... run away from me.ā He lets his voice sound sad.Ā āI was just so shocked... I didnāt think I would ever find someone else like me out here.ā
āHas word gone around so fast?ā surprise is feigned, though itās an act that purposely stands out as being fake ā it was, after all. A laugh escapes past rosy lips as a dismissive wave of the hand is given in regards to her question, āIām only messing around, please donāt mind me. Iād be glad for the two of us to hold a conversation,ā on cue, she steps to the side and draws the door open to the fullest, leaving more than enough room for the other to enter. āThere are two things that Iāll ask from you before we begin, though. First, Iād like to know what your name is. And secondāā a pause comes as she steps away from the door and turns on her heel in order to head back into the living area, āPlease close the door once you are inside.ā
It takes only a few seconds her to re-enter the living room and then a few seconds more for the pillows on the sofa to be arranged into place; the room was tidy as it was, but that didnāt stop her for making small adjustments where they were due. By the time her guest joins her in the living area, Bingbing turns towards him with a smile and gestures towards the couch in her vicinity, āMake yourself comfortable, donāt be shy.ā Once the invitation is made, she picks up the glass of water from the coffee table and crossing towards the door that lead into the kitchen, āBefore we begin, is there anything that I can get you? Tea, water or perhaps some coffee?ā
Words rattle around in his head for just a moment. Sheās joking with him about how quickly word about her has gotten around, and it honestly makes him just a bit nervous. He keeps his expression even enough, but his smile widens just a bit at the edges. Heās trying a little to hard. Normally he wouldnāt slip up like this. Normally he wouldnāt care, but right now heās already feeling sick at the idea that he might tell this woman anything. Heās not in a good head space, but he has to pretend. He needs to play it up. So he just gives a small laugh- eyes sliding to the floor for a moment. Itās ok if she thinks heās shy. Most people do. Itās his usual act.
He steps in with a small nod of the head when sheās out of the way. Heās keeping his eyes on her- if only slightly. She seems kind enough, but considering himself, Hansol doesnāt exactly trust whatās appearing on the outside. The medical specialist here is, after all, Yongsun. You would think someone with medical knowledge would want to use it to help people, but thatās not Yongsun. Oh no... Thatās not her at all. It certainly wouldnāt shock Hansol too much if this Bingbing was the same way... Though heās holding his judgement... for now.
āAh! Iām so rude. Iām sorry.ā He bites his lip and shakes his head a little. The nervousness in the action is easier to fake, probably because it isnāt. Itās just channeled into something he isnāt actually nervous about.Ā āMy name is Kim Hansol. Itās nice to meet you.ā Thereās a small bow given just with his head before heās looking up with the same smile. He closes the door very gently before tailing after the woman. Sheās cleaning up slightly, which he assumes is normal. Most people prefer a certain set up when there are guests. Also, he did show up uninvited. She likely wasnāt even close to being ready for company.
He glances around yet again when she tells him to make himself comfortable. As if he can honestly do that. He nods none the less and sits on the couch. His posture is a bit stiff, but at this point heās playing the nerves as a part of his act. Thereās no point in trying to hide them anymore. He just needs to make it seem like they arenāt... what they are. Heās not nervous about talking to her for fear of what she might think or say... No, heās just nervous because heās shy. Nervous because he isnāt familiar with this place. Heās just... nervous.
āThank you, but Iām alright... I donāt plan to take up too much of your time.ā He waves a hand gently at the offer- looking back over his shoulder.Ā āI wouldnāt want to take advantage of your kindness...ā
He wants to grimace at that, but he doesnāt. He feels weird saying it. Itās not that, itās that he doesnāt feel like he can drink anything. He might fidget with the glass or shake holding it. He doesnāt want to let anything show, and that means he has to be on his guard. She canāt see him break down. Heās going to make sure of it. This is just going to be a calm talk so he can sort out his mind. Thatās it... Thatās... it.
