You can identify a fake redneck by their passionate support of “blue lives matter.” Real rednecks have been in at least one physical fight and/or high-speed chase with police officers and would do it again

Han Solo in every movie.
han solo is just a dude who made charisma his best stat but can’t roll above a four at any given time

Alden Ehrenreich in Maple Leaves (2013)
anyway the long-form explanation of han’s full name is ( maybe ?? ) still a #spoiler so ….
han’s parents — — jonash and jaina — both died when he was very young. ( jaina was killed as part of an imperial sting operation targeting street-level organized crime on corellia ; jonash took his own life less than two years later. ) his parents weren’t married, and it’s partly due to their inability to agree on one that han was never formally given a surname. jaina, who earned her living as a documents forger, kept her own past a secret in an effort to protect her son, and jonash, despite working a somewhat-respectable civilian job in a corellian engineering corporation ship-building factory, didn’t want a child who may or may not grow up to take after his mother taking his good name with him ––––––– it was only when han successfully escaped corellia by voluntarily enlisting in the imperial navy at sixteen that he was given the last name ‘ solo ’ by the enlistment officer as a clever ( and cruel ) commentary on han’s admission that he was alone, with no family and no people to call his own.
however, as he aged and his name drew both recognition and disdain, han became rather attached to it ; by the conclusion of the galactic civil war, when the name han solo had become synonymous with a supposed rebellion hero, he’d decided that there was no reason to change it or drop it, a decision that was solidified when leia elected to take it herself when they were married. and now, that name has come to mean far more than a joke at young, desperate, lonely han’s expense ––––––– it carries its own legacy, its own meaning, and has served as the tie that binds him to the family that he found and created for himself.
some things never change.

Han and Chewie.
i think both… i think one thing that’s fun about the character is that there’s so many things. we all sort of think about him as this swashbuckling, swaggery cowboy and yet you look at the scenes with leia and he’s pretty insecure. there’s a lot of dimension, i think what makes it he’s the most human, in a way.
