Jesse & The Rippers Reunite
Jesse & The Rippers stop by “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" to perform a medley of their greatest hits, including the “Full House" theme.
What a show.
Hurry up with my damn croissants
what if I was born whole, a solid soul with no place to hook in?
I've got soul, but I'm not a soldier. this is not my war.
what if I'm just tired?
what if. two years of unanswered questions with no solutions in the rain clouds, sun rays, expansive horizons or new old continents.
Right now this is everything.
I haven't written anything here for 8 months, and it was all because I just thought I was done with music.
The only music that excited me was the manufactured sound of 2 light sabers clapping together. The only thing that got me going was Diamond Rings and Justin Bieber because they're cute Canadian who are really good at combining light sabers and rap breakdowns in 1 song.
But then Rilo Kiley, defunct for 3 years, releases this magnificent collection of B-sides. B-sides. And it's like I'm standing in the middle of the road yelling "Jennyyyy!" like I'm Marlon Brando.
And then it all comes flooding back and I remember we're all just portions for foxes, we will always be 16 miles from the promised land, and those were times that can't be weathered but we have never been back there.
SOS - Send music.
this is me since moving to London. I thought confidence comes with age? I'm no good at readjusting. I always assume there's something wrong with me.
London
also, this. it's not a rumour.
this somehow depicts exactly what my life has become.

The new showrunners are the shitcocks who ran Just Shoot Me and co-wrote/ran the failed American remake of the IT Crowd. Are they getting their revenge on Dan Harmon for making gold with Joel McHale after their unmitigated disaster? Did it really take more than one person to...

Observations on a Foreign Country 3 Weeks after Immigrating
just in case you didn't know, I moved to London, England. I've been here for just over 3 weeks.
it's been my dream to live in this country since I could remember, mostly because anything I've ever liked has come from here.
I have not yet decided if I like it. The weather is confusing to me. In the sun, everything is beautiful and historical; in the rain, everything is shit.
It's been raining a lot.
In point form (since that's my specialty), here are some observations on London.
no one is fat like I thought they would be.
there are a lot of blondes with distinguished noses.
everyone wears high heels and dresses nice. all the jeans are skinny; the flare is either not cool yet, or isn't cool anymore.
everything sounds like an emergency. the subway door closes, and it's a high pitched beeping as if an alarm's been set off. when you cross the street in Canada, there's a pleasant chirping noise to let blind people know it's okay. Here, there's nothing about the sound that's okay. also, the sirens are low and slow (lethargic, really) as if they don't really care if they save your life. Canada's sirens are keen and ready for action. Good thing Dustin Hoffman lives here.
the museums are free, so that's pretty awesome. everyone in the paintings vaguely resemble all the blondes with distinguished noses.
the sidewalks are uneven
the indian food really is the best.
the grocery stores have everything made for you. it's amazing.
there's a place called Tooting; there's Upper Tooting, Tooting High Street, and Tooting Bec Commons. clearly the brits have a sense of humour.
Here's a picture of me looking not so confused when it stopped raining for 5 seconds.
Here's a picture of me sensing rain and therefore crawling back into myself for shelter.
