no, unfortunately i didn’t.i didn't lose hope though. i keep looking if someone posted anything on missing birds FB groups and i keep checking up with vets if maybe someone brought in a new cockatiel they found.

A sad update

Hopi, my male cockatiel is gone.

Three weeks ago he flew out the window.

I searched for him, posted about him online and put up missing posters but I could not find him.

This is obviously my fault, I wasn't careful enough with the windows, and I never thought it could happen to me.

He doesn't deserve this. To be out in the wild, terrified and thirsty and hungry. I hope a kind family took him in and just didn't see my ads. I hope he found a good home.

Before losing Hopi I found an ad for a cockatiel looking for a new home.

I took him in a few days ago.

So, this is Grishka :

He is now in quarantine and I hope that after he and Happy will become fast friends :-)

He is 3 years old and very small and sweet. I hope I make a good home for him
