new horror movie concept:
so this white family moves into an old house. “it’s a fixer-uper but a fresh start for us” says the dad “no signal. this sucks” says the teenaged daughter “come on boy” says the 10 year old son to the dog who seems unsettled. “can’t put the kids through another year like the last” says the mom the house is ultra haunted super mega ultra haunted
dad (to angsty teenage daughter who is sadly staring out her bedroom window, which faces a creepy dead forest): “are you excited for your first day at your new school tomorrow? you’ll make tons of new friends!”
daughter (wipes tears): “i HAD friends. i dont want new friends.” she screams as she slams her bedroom door and dives into the bed face-first.
dad (through closed door):” sarah, come on! you’re going to love it here!”
daughter: “GO AWAY! I HATE YOU!”
dad: *looks down at the wooden floorboards and sighs*
mom: *comes up from behind and rubs his back* “it’s a big change. give her time, jim…”
dad: *nods and looks up toward the bedroom* “what do you say we break in our new house? ;)”
mom: oooo! *heads to the bedroom excitedly*
but why is this so accurate
