Burberry Winter Glow 2014 - A Few Favorites from the Collection

There were a few beautiful pieces in Burberry Beauty’s festive Winter Glow collection that really caught my eye, including the very pretty and odd taupe highlighting powder which I do not have here.

I do have 4 pieces that I love though. The entire collection features a lovely balance between antique golds, Burberry’s soft signature taupe, and also sexy oxblood red.

I’ll just say first and foremost that I love the golden-taupe tones of Complete Eye Palette No.25 Gold. If you have blue eyes, you have to check it out. I really only paid attention to it because they applied it on the lids of a model at the event and I realized it wasn’t “just another bronze-taupe palette”. I think it would look good on anyone. Ditto for that sexy burgundy lipstick, Oxblood No.214.

I always love deep juicy reds this time of year, and this is one of those classic lip shades. It goes on wonderfully glossy and semi-translucent, so if you’re afraid to wear heavy, opaque, vampy dark reds, this will not look so severe. 

Pair it with that gorgeous nail polish and you’ll look super-chic this Winter.
