About
Hi, I go by Snorlax online for anonymity and I have Dissociative Identity Disorder, amongst other mental health diagnoses. A handful of alters/parts post here, but we're not big on tagging names on posts, so Snorlax is also a name we use collectively. This is primarily a personal recovery blog as a CSA and RA survivor, I also have multiple disabilities and autoimmune conditions, and am a proud cat parent, so those topics will also pop up. I probably should have side blogs for different topics but I just don't have the brain power for that most of the time so it all goes here.
I am a happily engaged, chronically fatigued, queer, autistic, 30 something year old and while I don't mind minors following this blog, there may be mature topics discussed at times so be safe folks. We'll do our best to tag all common trauma related triggers, but if there's something specific you'd like tagging, I'm more than happy to try my best to accommodate that.
We're always happy to be tagged in cute posts or anything you think we might like, we especially love pandas, cats, elephants, raccoons, otters, cute dinosaur/dragon art, Baymax, Toothless. We're open to asks about anything really, but just request that they have appropriate trigger warnings if they're trauma related. Asks along the lines of 'do I have DID..' will not be answered because I'm not a medical professional so cannot diagnose you and I'd feel uncomfortable speaking as if I have authority, instead of just a random person sharing their lived experience.
We don't like to get involved in syscourse, and will block anyone who follows from blogs that are anti recovery, pro eating disorders, k!nk blogs, racist, homophobic, transphobic etc. Please do not engage if you post self harm images, especially untagged. If you don't have good intentions, stay away basically, I'm too tired for online drama.
Our header image is portraits of our parts made using AI software, but is not all of us by any stretch. Please do not save or repost the art because it is extremely personal. I'll put some pictures of frequent users of this blog below the cut..
If you have any questions, feel free to ask 💜
