So young...
First Day...co...college...
Highlights of the Day:
"OMG. All your things are green! Bag, binder, notebook, pen, laptop, cellphone, sticky notes...don't tell me your iPad is also green?" - when I said yes, she laughed so hard and said I'm cute. (naniwala naman ako haha)
BIO class...a cute guy came in. I was like "ooohh. Target Locked." Then he spoke to the girl beside him. And I sighed and went back to my laptop.
He's my 'kind'.
Just got home and glad I survived the first day. Nothing much because as for all the people and classmates who knew me...I don't talk to anyone at all unless they talk to me or I don't have a choice. Hahaha! #shygirlproblems
G'night!

This is not a look of someone who’s been defeated, this is a look of someone whos getting exactly what he wanted.
What does Loki desire more than ruling earth?
Ruling Asgard.
Where did he get banished from? Where is he being returned to?
….Exactly. This is all part of Loki’s plan.
the character is so far ahead of everyone, and everyone forgets. dolts.
wow you were right
I could get pregnant with just his stares.

My spoiler-riddled theories as to why this scene wasn’t included in the film:
The basic theory: It cut in order to make the overall tone of the film less dramatic and more fitting with the comedy-action they were going for
My main theory: To make a more dramatic reveal when Thor asked Loki to drop the illusion. Those of us on tumblr were privy to the missing scene, and how powerful it looked out of context, but if you think about it, where would it fit? Before Thor came to visit Loki? Then the viewers would have already known the state he was in, and the illusion would have been pointless. Or would it have been after Thor came to make the bargain with Loki? I don’t think it would have fit there.
I was not expecting the illusion, and then Loki dropped it looking like he was incredibly broken (bloodied foot and all) and completely resigned. And then he says so calmly, “Now you see me, brother.” There’s the implication of the missing scene, and I think that was more dramatic than if the missing scene had been left in. I was more affected by it than the funeral.
And then, there’s this possibility: That “missing” scene that launched a thousand gifsets, that came one of the “making of” featurettes. It’s plausible that the scene was never intended to be in the film in the first place, and they were merely sharing a moment of Tom Hiddleston getting into the headspace of Broken!Loki, drumming up all that rage and hopelessness and grief in preparation of the coming scene.
I definitely think that the film was a bit rushed—especially during the heartrending moments. But this? This I actually think they got right.
Yes, I absolutely agree. Ooh and good point about the possibility of this being Tom getting himself into Loki’s headspace.
Loki’s breakdown is a scene that works well in gifs and fanart, but I don’t think it would have worked so well in the movie. Not without changing the whole set up to Thor confronting Loki in the cell and losing that moment where he tells him to drop the illusion. And I think that in itself was an important moment for Thor. After two prior movies where Loki is inconstantly fooling Thor with his projections, I was really happy to see Thor see through it at last. Or perhaps it was just that he knows his brother well enough to guess he wasn’t holding up as well as he appeared to be. Either way, it was an important defining moment.
Loki :'<
I like everything on his costume. Like his two black bands on his leg.
