It’s a little early for holiday songs, but this just got announced today and I’m super-stoked on it. A fuzzy pop-punk banger about the nerves you get when you think you might see your ex when they come home for the holidays…
But the “holiday” element is really just coincidental here. Definitely passes as a Christmas song, but you can listen to this today and not feel weird about it too.
At the end of the day, it’s just an extraordinarily well-written break-up song.
I’m beyond stoked to hear the rest of their holiday LP (and to see them in November with Alexy Lahey).
Dude York needs more hype. Get into this one (even if you wait about a month and a half to do so).
