((I track the tag "hareofwonderland")) ((Formerly excellentideachangesubject.tumblr.com but now revamped)) ((Please specify which AU you want if you ask me to RP. Default is usually hare!verse, unless you are a OUAT blog.))
I’m going on hiatus indefinitely. If you wish to RP with me on an active account find me here.
I know I’ve been shit about activity lately (I haven’t used my computer for anything other than homework since I was last here, so it isn’t because I don’t want to, promise.
Theatre is taking over my life (no regrets), and since my grades dropped during the past month or so because I haven’t done the majority of my homework, I don’t have as much time as I’d like to have to dedicate to RPing. I’ve had to close my RPG, drop out of the group I was in, and go on hiatus with all indies except the one I linked you to. I still don’t know how active I’ll be.
Hopefully I’ll return to you soon, I promise I will as soon as I can, and I really miss talking to you all. Message me for my Skype, and we can have an ongoing thread in a chatroom there (mobile Skype is so much easier than mobile tumblr), and please, please, please talk to me on my other account.
Anyone want another muse? I have a character I'd love to see RPed.
So guys, you know how for my OUATverse Mark was married? I made the bio for her. She's a OUAT version of the Duchess for Alice in Wonderland, and I was wondering if anyone wanted to maybe play her? It might be fun to do.
Anyways, if you do, shoot me a message, and we can plan an RP? The bio is up for grabs, so long as you talk to me first, and give me some credit because Alysha started of as my OC headcanon character.
The bio is mine, loosely based off of Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. If anyone takes it without asking me first, and I find out, you will be in trouble.

Alysha grew up in Maine, with her parents and three sisters. When she was little, she loved her family, and often spent time with her fraternal twin, who she adored. They were inseparable, until the sixth grade. That was when Alysha’s crush asked her sister out on a date, and her sister said yes. Betrayed, she began to grow apart from her family, and when she turned eighteen she immediately moved out and lived with her boyfriend, at the time. She didn’t go to school, not wanting to rely on her family for that, and instead she moved from boy to boy, getting a job in the city as a secretary so she could pay her way in the world between her time with assorted significant others.
When she turned 21, however, everything changed. She fell for a guy who was different, and didn’t just want her for her body, but cared for her. He would do whatever she wanted, and she cared about him enough not to take advantage of that. And when he proposed, she said yes. They got married soon after, though not with all the glamour she wanted. Neither her, nor her fiance, Mark Hare, had any family or many friends to invite. The moved in together and lived happily for a few years. The, she got pregnant, and Alysha thought her life would be perfect. But then there was a miscarriage, and she felt as if everything would go to hell. So one night she ran away, trying to get as far as she could, beginning to blame him and hate him so she wouldn’t hurt herself. Alysha decided not to care ever since them.
Alysha travelled for a few years, until she came upon a town called Storybrooke, somewhere in Maine. It seemed small and safe, and oddly enough the town seemed like home, so she stayed. Alysha had a few affairs, and befriended the mayor there, becoming her secretary after she decided to stay. Life has been easy enough since then, and since she has all but forced herself to forget the past, Alysha is happy in Storybrooke. Or not miserable. Either way, she plans to stay for a while, and that’s all she knows.
"Forty-five, forty-six… Oh good lord, or was it forty-seven?" - Ariel stared at the box she carried so carefully trying to keep her thoughts away from its content. She glimpse the ocean easrasing her footprints along the shore. Maybe hidding it was not her best choice after all, but she feared that keeping it in the cottage was not safe enough.
She blinked, not resisting to the temptation of opening the lock wich snapped with a click, revealing her dinglehopper lying on red velvet. Her fingers touched the silver fork, feeling as if it could burn them. It was a piece of her past and she was willing to protect it at any cost. The box lid closed with a thud when Ariel heard echoes in the wind. She raised her eyes to the man with unfamiliar face and ragged eyes. “Did you know this is a private property?” - that wasn’t actually truth, she remembered shouting across the wind, but due to the lack of people on that side of the beatch it was a tiny detail quite easy to forget. “Are you lost or something?” - she went on struggling the will of hide the box behind her back.
Mark had been sitting on the beach, sipping tea. He usually didn't come out here, especially not in the cold, but he needed to think, and it was pretty and peaceful here. It usually wasn't in town, and the forest seemed to have people in it all the time these days, so he had made his way here. He knew it was private property, but hopefully he wouldn't get caught, and if he did, well, he had enough money to pay any fine they might give him. He just wanted the quiet, it was worth the risk, at the moment.
Mark looked up when he heard a girl talking, blushing slightly. "Sorry..." he muttered, bending down to pick up the thermos he had brought with him, "I'll leave if you want..." He walked towards the girl, looking at his feet as he retraced his steps to go back the way he came. He briefly noticed the girl trying to hide something, and opened his mouth to ask, but then realized it wasn't his place and closed it again. He continued to walk, offering her a shy smile as he ended up right beside her, not sure what he was supposed to say.
"Attina is the princess who got lost here, right? The one from the ocean," He tugged at his ear, thinking for a moment, "She's nice, and very polite, and also pretty. I think mermaids a prettier than humans, or at least the one's in the below."
((Mark))
"She's very kind." he bit his lip, "She has a lovely daughter. But I don't know her very well..." He frowned slightly, and as an afterthought he muttered, "I think I'd like to, though."
"I was thinking just fake tea stains, a plain black one maybe? It would be simpler. Though I do like real ones better…" She nodded. She should have known he’d automatically go for the option of using actual tea. They would smell lovely should they use actual, proper tea to stain it with. Molly liked that idea more and more by the moment.
She smiled as he said he liked it. Of course he did. Mark was even more fond of tea than herself. “The rest could be fairly simple, we wouldn’t want to clash against the background and make it too busy…” She shrugged, sipping at her tea once she’d finished speaking.
"Fake tea is nowhere near as much as real tea!" he told her, knowing by the look on her face after he suggested that. Tea lovers were bound to agree on that. He took another sip of his tea, listening to her speak with a grin. "Simple... yet pretty." he liked the idea. It would work well, and match the vibe of the shop.
He took another sip, reaching across the table to break off a piece of her pastry and eat it, smiling at Molly. "Anything else happen today? Other than the menu." Working at the shop was quite boring, as not many people liked tea more than lemonade and the other things they served at Grannies, so they often had nothing to say in that regard.
Molly’s head rested on her hand and she dosed off slightly in the time it took him to decided to come and sit with her. However when he sat down she smiled and looked up at him near instantly awaking. She’d gotten used to dosing off and waking to people speaking to her. She nibbled at the edge of the pastry considering his question. Which one should she show him?
"I was thinking of the next menu design, since you’ve released a few new teas I thought a new design would be a good idea." She turned the sketch book to him. "Tea stained looking paper would have quite an effect, don’t you think?" She smiled proudly, she liked that idea, a light brown menu with false tea stains making an interesting pattern. Along with much bolder lettering so it could be read still.
Mark looked at it, sipping his tea thoughtfully as he did. "It'll also make them smell nice," he commented with a grin, liking the idea. He liked any tea related ideas, though. "But what type of tea stains?" he asked, "Black tea, white tea, green tea, red tea, herbal tea?" That would effect the color. He liked the concept, though, it spoke to him, and he smiled, looking over the design again.
"I like it." he decreed, turning the sketchbook back to her. He took the pencil next to it and twirled it between his fingers, thinking about how much it would cost. They certainly had the budget, but their menu changed constantly, so he didn't want to spend to much money one one particular version.
Molly leaned against the counter, doodling in her sketchbook a new menu design as she idly sipped at her tea. It was too quiet today, they hadn’t had anyone in the store for most of the day. Though, she didn’t mind so much. It gave her time to think and work on the designs that needed working on. However she’d been standing for a good part of the day and decided that it was time for her break. Not that it mattered much with the lack of people. “Mark?” She headed into the backroom. “I’m headed on break, you should come join me. It’s dull.” She wrinkled her nose and, grabbing her favorite tea cup got herself a nice warm cup of tea and pastry.
She headed back towards the tables and seated herself, looking up in hopes that her friend would join her.
Mark looked up as Molly walked into the room, smiling and nodding. "Give me a second, I need to figure out a good way to add this..." he stared that the ingredients on the table for a moment before sighing and getting up. The blend could wait until after a break, thirty minutes of failing was probably a sign to try again later. He found himself a pot of tea and a tea cup, and carried them to the front room to sit across from Molly.
He grinned and poured himself a cup of tea, grinning and taking a sip before he spoke. "Anything interesting?" he asked, gesturing to the sketchpad she had put down nearby. It had been a quiet day, and both of them had been in a world of their own. Good thing they were friends, and companionable silence was comfortable between them.
Marchy may be the Mad March Hare, but he can use logic to outsmart anyone, when he wishes to. He can use illogic too, though, and getting in an argument with him will likely drive one insane.
